The only unexpected thing was the house located directly next to the cottage (I’d estimate less than 12 feet to the left). In the original photos I saw that convinced me to book, it appeared the cottage was more private than it actually is, but we still had an overwhelming positive stay!"

"The Captain's Cottage was the perfect place for our visit to Delaware. We were a quick drive to events at the Woodlands at Dover Speedway, and less than an hour away from Rehoboth Beach, which is highly recommended. Bowers beach in town was also great, clean, and never busy. The property was very clean, fully equipped, and in a very safe and quiet neighborhood. "If your looking for a place near DE turf field this is about 14 mins away if the traffic is bad 10 mins normally. Located near a walmart dollar tree and movie theater. There are many fast food options 5 mins away. The home is great has there is an airfryer which is good. The seller communication was great. I had no issues getting in or checking out. My son who is 6'2 slept comfortably in the other room. Beds are as comfortable as a hotel. Over all nithing to complain about. Better than a hotel...

"A nice place to stay with everything we needed to cook an early Thanksgiving dinner for our family living from Felton. Grand kids loved the game room and the neighbors are friendly and quiet.The beach is really nice to walk off season and the full moon rising over the bay was beautiful Joseph made sure we had everything we needed and checked to make sure we were happy with the stay."

"We chose Delaware for our family trip this year, our 5 adult children and their spouses all went! The house was perfect! There was plenty of bedrooms, several which had desks, which was great for our remote workers. The Kitchen was amazing. We are a family of cooks, so every night was another awesome meal. The kitchen is fully equipped, with everything you could possibly need, no matter what you are making. The island is the largest I have ever seen, which was great for our make your own...
