"Once again, Room 101 was beautifully clean (Thank you, Charlotte in Housekeeping). Lots of Tea & Coffee, bed was crisp, white and clean, very big and very comfy. "Bell Inn is a beautiful old inn, tastefully renovated, with a great restaurant, attentive staff, and all the basic amenities you might need. I only gave 4 stars because of the low doorways and ceilings. This is part of the charm, but also makes it harder for us taller folk to navigate!"

"Birds farm is a lovely place to stay for the local Essex or Sussex area. Very quiet in the evenings, despite being just off a busy road. "I was very happy with the room itself and the price I paid for it booking only couple of days beforehand. Nice and fresh with lots of storage and a clean ensuite bathroom I'd compare the facilities to Travelodge or Ibis(but no TV). However. This being a university campus, it was A bit difficult to find and park in the correct place and was quite a walk to reception and the actual room. "The Rose and Crown was a lovely timber framed building but with modern facilities. The room was large, warm and comfortable with a couple of easy chairs which were an added bonus. The shower was good and easy to use. The breakfast was well presented and good and the staff were all pleasant and created a relaxed atmosphere"
