"Everything about our stay was great! The house is clean, well stocked, and in a perfect location. The beds are comfy, the heaters work well, the lake is gorgeous, the sunroom is cozy--we loved the personal dock and the outdoor seating options by the firepit. Tracy and Rick were communicative and kind. I will definitely go back one day! "

"We enjoyed our stay at Paradise Cottage, a remote cabin in one of our favorite remote places - the Paradise/Whitefish Point area. Excellent space and provisions in the kitchen and living areas, comfortable and warm in the bed and bath areas. And, surrounded by woods on all sides (we enjoyed a fire in the fire pit on our last night). Location also perfect for our agenda - birding at Whitefish Point, at Vermillion Point, on Preacher Road. Perfect spot for our family group of four!"

"Great location for our visit to Tahquamenon and Whitefish Point! This house is large enough to spread out and the kids loved the pool table. There's a wonderful screened in porch with a large picnic table and porch swing. The host was very responsive and helpful! Only one small bathroom, but we made it work. We would definitely stay here again!"

"We came up specifically to view the Aurora Borealis and it did not disappoint! We had 2 really good nights and a 3rd that was obscured by clouds. Lots of places to view the lights, from Whitefish Pt. and to the east toward Brimley. We found a place at the mouth of the Tahquamenon River that was perfect - only about 5 minutes away. The apartment was nice, up a big flight of stairs (which was referred to as an “upstairs apartment”, but the photo only shows a few stairs and there are a lot more)...

"We were pleasantly amazed how isolated we found the location . Very few people were on the beach. We managed the “non potable” water for cooking and cleaning. I was thankful I brought my air fryer to cook meats/potatoes in. I’m a foodie! We navigated our beach equipment down the VERY steep trail s as bd settled in gor many gorgeous beach and rockhounding days. We even hunted for rocks at night! Great getaway from chaos of day to day!! Just want to note that the 18 mile drive in is beautiful but...

"It was great to have 4 double beds in the room and still have plenty of room to move around. I appreciated that the light switches were labeled. I would suggest an additional table and light between the 2 sofa beds. Contactless check in worked well. I received a text message with the code and instructions were clear. The hotel is set back enough from the road that it is very quiet"
