"This place was a little sketchy when we first pulled up but it was in a fairly remote area. But to our surprise the inside was very nice! Very comfortable and convenient to restaurants and stores. Jason our host was very gracious and friendly. The bathroom was top of the line...fixtures, decor, towels, everything was nice. There were a few things that needed to be finished off but all in all it was a satisfactory choice."

"Wonderful vibe. Beautiful forest setting. Friendly, easy going hosts. Excellent secluded location, private, comfy, charming, yet modest accommodation. Lovely but very basic, very "rural" style of room construction, super clean. We would love to return next year. Rock picking (agates and yoopers) is a bit sparse but the shoreline is vast and largely private/wild; very few people. "

"We loved everything about this area. You can be as busy, or simply relax, as much as you want. We road our side by side and took in many of the attractions in the area. The cabin had ALL we could have ever needed, except maybe more fans. We had unseasonably warm temperatures and weren’t quite expecting that. All in all, a WONDERFUL U.P. experience. "

"The property was super clean. It was a great place to call home base. I would definitely return to this spot. Hosts were easily accessible, beds were comfy. We had no complaints. I highly recommend this place. We’d leave in the morning to head to Grand Marais and the two hearted. Even say a bear about 15 minutes away. 😊"

"Located in a beautiful area, this apartment is built into the back of a house. It has a private entrance, screened porch, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and other furnishings. We enjoyed walking the trail right behind the property and which continues to Andrus Lake about one mile away. Very quiet and peaceful. Great communication from manager."

"Great location for our visit to Tahquamenon and Whitefish Point! This house is large enough to spread out and the kids loved the pool table. There's a wonderful screened in porch with a large picnic table and porch swing. The host was very responsive and helpful! Only one small bathroom, but we made it work. We would definitely stay here again!"

"The host used the VRBO app to communicate arrivals, but the app failed. The Inbox would never load (and still doesn't). And with the lack of internet and cell service in the UP, it was an extremely stressful process. Process would be much easier if the host communicated directly with guests. And guests should print or screenshot their instructions before heading there."
