One could walk just about anywhere to dine, have drinks, shop, visit famous Lythia Park. The home was clean, and the property manager was very responsive. "We loved it here and hope to come back. The river is the main character and the historic cabin makes this a perfect getaway. If you don’t appreciate a little rustic charm you may not enjoy it as much as we did. There are plenty of amenities like the hot tub and sauna. We enjoyed sitting on the deck every night and watched the spawning salmon. There were many books about the area. The host checked in on us which was so nice. We loved the area and can’t wait to return. "

"I couldn't imagine a better place to be in 100 degree+ heat. The cabin was clean, cool and comfortable, but the river front access was a highlight. "My husband and I had a wonderful 5 days at River Haven! The cabin was adorable and so comfy. Kitchen had everything you would need if you plan on cooking. We spent most of our time outside on one of the 3 decks watching all the fisherman and rafters go by. My husband even tried fly fishing for the first time and really enjoyed it! We took a day trip up to crater lake and couldn’t believe how beautiful it was! And to top it all off we had the neighborhood Siamese cat, Dante, visit us every day....

"It had most of what we needed. However the microwave 'didnt work at all, and the oven in the stove also didn'twork. The wifi was great, washer and dryer were good and all products for cooking and cleaning were good. Warm and comfy, and nice yard. We enjoyed the cottage."

"This hotel is older and has some charm. Very well maintained and CLEAN. (I was so relieved that it was surprisingly clean for an older hotel.) the pool was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back. Our son is in college in the area and this place was just perfect. Quality at a good price is hard to find, Stratford Inn definitely is the best quality for the best price in the area. Next time we will bring our dog, now that we know it’s a great place for it. "
