"Overall stay was great. Everything was clean and seemed to be updated (in the bedroom) we had easy access to a side door which was great for getting in and out. Bathroom was a little small and outdated but very clean so there were no problems. Main downside for me is the mattress was hard and I got some back pain from it but I'm a lighter person so a lot of hotel mattresses are to firm for me."

"A recepção fecha e só abre as 8 da manhã- se chegar tarde terá que ligar para alguém vir fazer seu check in. O café da manhã que o hotel oferece é muito fraco- não há nada salgado, apenas bolinhos e você tem que ir na recepção buscar e levar de bandeija para seu quarto pois não há onde sentar ali. A localização do hotel é ímpar, com uma linda vista para o lago."

"Perfect place to stay for the night before starting the Lakshore Trail in Pictured Rocks. Convenient for restaurants and about 2 miles from the Munising Ranger Station for the shuttle bus. Couldn't ask for a better location or motel. Will stay here next time."

"We enjoyed the amenities of suite 101, but being the closest to the highway was a bit off putting when we arrived. We would have preferred to be a bit around the bend or will consider a suite above next time. I would have liked some bedside lighting options or light dimmers of some kind in the evening. "We were in town to hike and not looking for anything fancy, so this was the perfect place for our low budget. Cheap, old-school motel walking distance from downtown. The staff is nice and helpful - especially Susan! The check-in/check-out process was super easy. Grocery store, bars, restaurants, dispensary within a few blocks. Nothing fancy but a good deal for such a last minute purchase. "

"Luxurious Stay in the Lumber Baron’s Suite. We loved the spacious suite, lake view, balcony, comfy king bed, and seating areas. Our dinner of small plates at the restaurant was delicious, exquisitely plated, and accompanied by refreshing creative mocktails. (Of course, they have cocktails, too.) All the service was excellent and the hotel was very clean with tasteful decor. The fresh fruit and muffins at the continental breakfast were a cut above the typical."

"This place was marvelous. We stayed in the Miners Castle Suite and it was perfect for what we wanted. We love the two separate living room areas with the outdoor patio. A home away from home feel. The host is very easy to communicate with and was helpful and friendly."

"Outstanding modernized cabin deep the forest. Full kitchen with gas stove, toaster, microwave and large-capacity coffeemaker. Main heat source is the gas fireplace, which quickly warms the living area. Bed was outstanding. Amply provided with towels and washcloths. Despite its fairly isolated location is easy to find and only a mile from the main road (H58). You're in the wilds here, and the stars are bright at night. Highly recommended. "

"The cabin was spacious and the location is very private. There were plenty of towels and the bed was comfy. I wish we had more time to explore the area around the cabin. A beautiful 15 minute drive to Munising. Will come back."
