"We chose the Acorn Motor Inn for our recent weekend overnight stay in Oak Harbor to coincide with a visit to friends who live in the area. We were mainly looking for a clean, comfortable, moderately priced hotel/motel and the Acorn Inn ticked all of those boxes. The furniture and (huge!) bed were all very comfortable. The breakfast that was included, while not sumptuous, was fine for a snack to start the day. All things considered, we'd stay there again."

"I loved this place! It was just right for me and my mini dachshund. Della had dog water, toys, poop bags, and a fully fenced back yard for Abby to run around in. It was perfect for her. For me, I hit the jackpot with this place. Della had everything I could have asked for. Keurig, cream, milk, snacks, cereal, and a PIE!!! The bed was so much more comfortable than mine at home. I slept so well. This was a gold mine and perfect for 1-2 adults. It was so nice that she allowed dogs too and...

"What a view! And with the changing tides, the view actually changes throughout the day, which is so fun. The access to the beach just out the door was so nice. We brought a paddle board and could go out on the water as we pleased. Came across the coffee bar at Captain whidbey’s next door and could walk along the beach to go grab breakfast to go. The house itself was just fine. No bells and whistles, but clean. "

"I can't find a single thing that I didn't like! The room was perfectly clean. The bed was so comfortable. The linen was pristine. The bathroom was spick and span. Now, let's talk about the staff: so friendly, so professional. Then the breakfast: it's really good, the coffee is perfect. "We had a great stay in Oak Harbor and really enjoyed the water views and lovely back deck. Rooms were nice and location was stunning. The only drawback is that the kitchen is only equipped with very basic inventory, so would recommend bringing what you need if you plan to cook."

"The location is delightful, right on the beach and the views are spectacular. Plenty of room, and comfy furniture. Nice to have king bed and 2 bathrooms. Kitchen was well stocked, not to be too picky but very unorganized, had to search for things and lids didn't match pans. Sliders to beach are new and very functional. Note before you go that YOU CANT DRINK THE TAP WATER. Take bottled water for coffee, drinking, altho there was SOME small bottles of water in the fridge. There is wall to wall...
