It was mentioned in the listing that there was a downstairs apt, there was a guest staying there and it was a little odd to me. There is a spiral stair case leading down to it. At the top was just a baby type gate. We respected it and did not go downstairs, so I’m not really sure what type of door separated the two residences. Otherwise it’s a very cozy place to stay with great views."

"Our VRBO rental on Lopez Island was a very relaxing place. It was easy to find, The property was in a beautiful secluded spot on the island. Most evenings we drove / hiked to Shark Reef Sanctuary to watch the sunset. 50 years ago I first visited the San Juan Islands, and I hoped someday I would return. The house had an eerie, somewhat neglected feel to it. There were bugs inside, a noticeable odor, and it didn’t seem ready for guests—very bare with no Wi-Fi. "Really nice cottage. Great location. Quiet. Langley is fun. Would go go back, but: I booked with VRBO, then got handed off to Vacasa as the property manager. Way more hoops to go through than any other VRBO booking I've done. They were responsive, but demanding. Maybe good for the owner, a pain for me. Next time I book with VRBO and get handed to Vacasa I will cancel. The cottage is really nice. "

So while the breakfast is included; it’s “to go” and served to you to and you aren’t allowed behind the counter, so it’s a bit different then what most are used to doing.
