"It was a one night stay and the kitchen was closed. They phoned ahead to tell me and the staff on that night were really friendly I also managed to get a cheeky wee burger as the work was done so quickly! Yummie "

"Beautifully redone vintage hotel with modern amenities, amazing staff, and a great location and history. If you stay, ask about the name - I won’t spoil it. If you are in the area, a must stay! "

"The property was situated on a busy main road with on road parking and a permit provided by B&B , which was hassle free. We booked room 4 on the first floor.The room was clean, spacious, light and airy. There was an eco shower in the shower cubicle with complimentary toiletries. The bedroom was provided with tea and coffee making facilities. The menue was good and the american pancakes ordered scrumptious. Vickie, the proprietor was welcoming, warm and friendly."

"This proved to be one of the superior B&Bs we have ever used. Apart from the comfort and cleanliness we discovered two small brownies and two KitKats on the tea tray. Breakfast was delicious - porridge, fresh fruit salad, any cereals, full breakfasts and scrambled eggs with smoked salmon . Very inexpensive."
