"This stay was idyllic and everything that was promised. Privacy, serenity and beautiful surroundings. Loads to do in the area and off the beaten track enough to have a sanctuary from tourism. Susan was the hostess with the mostess. Always there for suggestions, but never intruding. "Mooie woning, mooie spullen die aantiek aandoen en prachtig zijn, mooi landschap eromheen en veel ruimte. Alleen de wifi leverde af en toe wat problemen op, maar Mr. Giulio (de eigenaar) snelde echt met een oplossing en een snellere verbinding proberen te bewerkstelligen. Echt een aanrader dit huis."

"It is a perfect place to stay and visit Viareggio/Lucca/Florence/Sienna and drive all the small roads in between. The cottage itself is great. The pictures on the site make it small but it is nice and wide. Big enough for 2 people to stay, nice terrace, nice complete kitchen, big and great bathroom. Bedroom is spacious and linked to the bathroom. The driveway to the cottage is movie worthy. We loved it and if possible we will return in the near future."

"Giuseppe and Cinzie were absolutely lovely hosts - very helpful but not intrusive at all. There was a gorgeous welcome pack of food, beers, wine and home made limoncello which was fabulous! The house was perfect for us and Bagni Di Lucca is a great location, especially to go and see the numerous hilltop villages nearby alongside your tourist towns such as Lucca and Florence. "We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad op de idyllische plek van Mandolata. Alle huisjes zijn omgeven door de prachtige tuin. Super schoon en netjes verzorgd. En lekker ontspannen aan het mooie zwembad met uitzicht op tuin en bergen. Paola en familie zijn heel gastvrij en maken dat je je gelijk thuis voelt."
