"Cabin is adorable. Very clean. However, the water smelled strongly of sulfer and was brown when we ran the faucets initially. I’ve had properties with wells before and never experienced this. We would love to come back when the weather is better!"

"We had a group of 10 girls stay for a long weekend getaway. It was the perfect location nearby Mawby, Suttons Bay Ciders, and more. We enjoyed the spacious kitchen and lots of seating areas for a large group. It’s also so nice that you can walk down to the water or just enjoy the view from the house. Highly recommend this home for any ‘up north’ trips!"

"We had a great stay at this nice home in Sutton's Bay. The home was clean and comfortable. The stairs were a bit much for a few of our seniors, but we managed to have a great time. A few suggestions to improve the property. The ceiling fan in main area needs a good cleaning. A working can opener would be a great addition. The knives in the kitchen need to be sharpened or replaced. More towel racks or hooks in the bathrooms would be a great addition. An air fryer would also be a great addition...

"The house was a perfect getaway. It's a super quiet and peaceful area. My favorite part was having my coffee on the beach every morning. The house itself is a little outdated but everything is fully functional. There's enough space for everyone to stay comfortably and not be on top of each other. "We stayed with our four kids and brought the boat. The kids fished off the dock where we parked the boat during our stay. In walking distance of a grocery store, Fiddleheads breakfast/lunch spot, the Boathouse Winery, the Capital Dog (great ice cream), a True Value and even a gas station.Plenty of seating on the deck and the four queen beds (two were pull out couches) worked for our family. "This is a modest 3-bedroom ranch home with a scenic Grand Traverse Bay shoreline sitting among acres of splendid Pine, Maple and Birch Forest. A generous amount of very nice lawn chairs are situated in the yard for viewing sunrises and sitting around a small fire pit. A nice 10 step staircase descends to a private natural coastline that is spectacular. Inside the home is bright, tidy and attractive. Window views are picturesque. "This was our fifth stay at this house, and every time is better than the last! The location is perfection, giving you beautiful sunrises over the bay while still being close enough to Traverse City to enjoy restaurants, breweries, and shopping. We appreciate that the linens and decorations feel like what you would actually purchase for your own home and not for a rental property. The art is stunning and the furniture is comfortable. The kitchen and dining room provide a wonderful place to gather...

"Property is as photographed and described, but even BETTER! Owner pride and craftsmanship on display here, with an eye for decorating and personal seasonal touches make this such a cozy retreat. Heated floors in primary bedroom and bath such a treat as the temperature dropped, and the gas fireplace in the living room removed the chill immediately. Exceeded every expectation!"

"We had a fantastic weekend retreat wine tasting in Leelanau peninsula shopping downtown and the state hospital shops. The resort was comfortable and very accommodating with kitchen and laundry supplies, wood for the fireplace and Beach chairs, and fun games outside. The only concern we have was the traffic in the morning starting at 6:00 AM from the front road. It wasn’t ideal location for wineries and downtown Traverse City."
