"My wife and I stayed for one night at The Oyster Inn and thoroughly enjoyed it. The rooms are quite small but are spotlessly clean, the bed's comfortable and the walk in showers are a decent size and the views overlooking the loch are spectacular. Our highlights however was the genuine friendliness of all the staff and the food was incredible...all at a reasonable price. We'll definitely stay there again if we're in the area! "

"In a great location in the centre of Oban, with most of the places you would want to visit within walking distance. There is a convenient car park across the street if you need it. The building is old and full of character, which inevitably impacts on the accommodation - with some ingenious planning of the en-suite bathrooms, but this is more than made up for by the Scottish welcome from the knowledgeable staff. "We stayed here for a few nights to explore the Argyll area and it was the greatest decision. The guest house is lovely, the rooms are clean and beds very comfortable, parking on site is handy, the local post office and deli are only walking distance which was great. Honestly tho, the whole hotel experience is made by Christine the manager. Firstly, her porridge is to die for! So creamy - we had it 3 mornings in a row. Secondly, she just could not do enough for us to make our stay more...
