"The house itself is lovely, the room was very comfortable, the beds were heavenly, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were accommodating when we had some delays checking in and out. The shower was the only downside--it was very hard to get the water to turn on and the water pressure was weak."
"We stayed 2 days and it was excellent. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The large drawing room that overlooks Loch Melfort was also available for us to use which we enjoyed. We enjoyed a delicious 4 course dinner on the evening of our arrival prepared and served by our host Mathew. This was our first visit to Melfort House and hopefully we will be back again soon."

"Hotel lindo e estiloso num lugar maravilhoso em frente ao lago. Atendimento excelente, quarto espaçoso e muito bonito. Banheiro amplo com duas pias e uma bathtub linda. "

"In a great location in the centre of Oban, with most of the places you would want to visit within walking distance. There is a convenient car park across the street if you need it.
The building is old and full of character, which inevitably impacts on the accommodation - with some ingenious planning of the en-suite bathrooms, but this is more than made up for by the Scottish welcome from the knowledgeable staff.
Breakfasts are not included, but there is the offer a of a goodie-bag with...
"I am rooting for these guys! It’s a beautiful place and we loved staying in Oban away from the tacky ocean front area spots. We loved the views and the grounds and the library with the assortment of whiskeys. Here is a photo of some highlights! The library and the peacock and the views. Looks like a castle. "

"O hotel é simplesmente incrível. Localização perfeita, a pouca distância dos principais pontos de interesse da cidade. A recepção foi feita com muita gentileza e cortesia. O quarto é simplesmente magnífico. A vista é de tirar o fôlego. Não dá vontade de de sair do quarto. Roupas de cama e banho limpas. Acomodação mais do que perfeita. Café da manhã de alta qualidade e saboroso. Estacionamento fica no próprio hotel. Mas o destaque do hotel é, de verdade, o atendimento feito com muita gentileza....
