"This property is awesome! I stay in a lot of places and this is in my top 3. The wifi excellent, quiet, and option of two balconies is a bonus. Easy instructions to enter the apartment. "We enjoyed our four night stay at Ashton retreat. We found it a welcoming place to relax and enjoy the established extensive gardens around the retreat.The little touches made it special-a full fruit bowl, fresh milk , a variety of breakfast cereals, fresh coffees and a variety of teas etc. Kate and Andy were very welcoming - - thank you for the delicious homemade berry jam and fresh homegrown rhubarb. "Avoid this hotel. It has no respect whatsoever for its customers. I stayed in room 607, and on the same floor, an all-night party took place—noisy, with people screaming in the corridors, making it impossible for anyone else to sleep. I politely asked the guests to lower their voices, called and spoke twice with the reception, all to no effect. The management showed total disregard for the comfort and rights of other guests. I didn’t expect Australians to behave in such a gross and selfish manner, nor did I expect a hotel to tolerate this level of disrespect. The result: a miserable sleepless night. I might as well have slept on a park bench for the same outcome."
