"Had a family room, it was big clean and well appointed. Only problem was the room doors in the annex are not at all soundproof; disturbed the neighbouring room with normal volume talk in the foyer; they thought we must have been shouting. I could hear conversations from outside the room with ease."

"Lovely one night stay, hotel is modern clean and has large rooms. The bar area is well laid out. We didn’t eat, but due to its location if you need a meal you will likely end up eating there. Only one bad point is that the pillows were feather and soon went flat, I do wish hotels would have a synthetic standby pillow that does not go flat. Other than that we really enjoyed it."

"Very clean and quiet. Upgraded to the Garden suite which was lovely. Nice pub next door with food. Fun climb onto the Moors behind the B&B. Great stay !"

"The manager, Julie was extremely helpful and pleasant. Kay one of the staff members couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. I almost felt like I'd know them years and really felt at home."

"Lovely stay. The staff was great! Everyone went out of their way to be kind and helpful, even helping when our plans to tour local sites got messed up by a very heavy winter storm that caused power outages. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a bit pricey, but excellent quality and our servers could not have been better. Breakfast every morning was delicious and, again, our server was lovely. Would recommend this hotel if touring Derbyshire area. "

"We enjoyed our stay at Ringwood hall. Our room was very comfortable and we slept well. The bathroom was immaculate and we enjoyed having a bath as well as just a shower. Our room was cold but the receptionist kindly brought over a portable radiator for us which we kept for our stay. We would definitely stay here again."

"Staff were professional and friendly Hotel was beautiful and full of character. It is about to be undergoing renovations as needing some old in some areas.. mostly on the outside of building. Breakfast was wonderful, the toaster worked perfectly! The waitress was sunny bright and helpful. The spa facilities were just what we needed although some young lads were behaving like 8year olds splashing water at each other and anyone in the vicinity. The spa staff was very apologetic and intervened...

"Property was great. Greeted at check-in, and given clear instructions to room. Breakfast time given, and I was shown where everything was. Room was fine. It was very compact with the smallest bathroom I've ever been in, but designed well enough that it wasn't an issue. Bed comfortable, nice welcome card and pack left. Hot chocolate was really nice too. Slept really well, and then went to breakfast. The service was a little slow, but I could see that they were quite busy, so it was totally...

"The rooms are always clean and comfortable, with very polite and friendly reception staff. Slightly disappointed about the additional charges for parking but I imagine that is down to the land owners imposing charges on the businss, which is a shame."

"The hotel use to be a police station,so the building has lots of character. It is lacking in chef so the breakfast was limited however adequate. The room was nice and the bed was comfy even if outdated. "
