A few things, I did not like there was no back light to the back deck so we were not able to utilize it as much once it got dark. It was dangerous going down the back step to get to sauna without a flashlight. "We did not stay at this location. Our boat was canceled due to the Hurricane. I was in communication with the owner and asked her if we could get a refund. She said no. I understand people have to pay there bills but this was an act of nature. The Canadian government told people to stay off the roads and have a 72 hour emergency kit ready. "For the short time we were there, it was an excellent stay. The check in process was easy as well as communicating with the owner. I came down for a work trip and brought my family. The view is beautiful, the cottage was nice and bright during the day with the sun, it was nice and clean and had a well stocked kitchen. "A very quiet and lovey spot to vacation. Close to several great beaches. Easy drive to Port Medway, Liverpool and Shelburne. Cottage is small but well equipped and a good size bathroom. The Loft ladder could be a challenge for anyone who has mobility or height issues. Beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed several meals and coffees on the deck watching boats and the seals. The host was pleasant and helpful and resides on the same property if any issues arise. Loved our visit and hope to return....

"We had a relaxing stay at this charming cottage. It had comfortable beds, a nice view, a fun vibe, and the perfect location for exploring Queens and Shelburne Counties. You can practically roll out of bed and be on the most gorgeous beach. Perfect for our weekend getaway. "

"This property is a gem. We discovered new things right to the end. Loved exploring the cactus solarium. There was so many little things to look at and we were blessed with blooms on 3 cacti and a water lily bloom at the end of the week. My only complaint is the amazing view and the crashing of the waves on the rocks kept distracting me from my book. Lol Jon is a superior host. Always at the ready to answer our questions.
