"The room itself was fantastic for the price, the property had clear signage of where to go for what and the staff were wonderful. We ate both dinner and breakfast at the property and that’s where there were issues. The food was really terrible. (The breakfast especially. "This is a beautiful historic building. Close to the park and walking trails. Also on the corner of an intersection so some traffic noise in the morning but not terrible. The suite was lovely and well equipped with lots of space. The hosts were wonderful and very helpful. The only negative was that the bed was unfortunately not comfortable as it was soft and sinking in the middle. We would recommend this stay, albeit with a new bed. "

"This is a hidden gem! The house was gorgeous and had the perfect cottage feel along with all the amenities. Located on a cute cove off the larger lake created a nice private feel and made the water warmer! Mike was great communicating with and answered all our questions! A great place to escape for the weekend. Would definitely recommend!!"

"Our family of 6 stayed here for a week. We used the house as both a place to relax and as a jumping off point to do other activities in Nova Scotia. We loved it here. We enjoyed numerous outings on Ponhook Lake in the canoes, kayaks and stand up paddleboard provided by the owner. The house is beautiful, clean and very well kept up.
