"Our first room had black mold growing on the air conditioner vents, and white mold growing on the wood cabinet surrounding the refrigerator. Also, the shower curtain was missing.They put us in another room that was better, but still lacking for the price charged. A hole in the top sheet, bath sink that was 8 inches taller than normal, loose toilet seat, and super-ugly caulk around the shower. Ice machine was not working on 2nd or 3rd floor."

"The unit was very clean and cozy. It was easy to locate and in a very quiet area. It waant to far from where i had a meeting at. The small town nearby was nice and the property owner was very polite and i enjoyed talking to him. A blanket was left behind and it had sentimental value to it and he mailed back to me. It was a great experience and ill be using it again"

"I can’t even begin to tell you how terrible this place was. It was very dirty and smelled like sewer. The beds are all very old and uncomfortable. The linens on the bed were other stained or dirty. Floors are very unlevel. 1 shower doesn’t work, and that’s good cause there were live roaches in it! We did complain first to host, then VRBO. We’re told the host was unwilling to do anything about any of the problems, then she cancelled our contract (we had prepaid for 23 days), threatened to have...

"Was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. There are steep stairs so if you have really young children or bad knees it might not be the best option for you. My kids loved it and thought it was the coolest experience. The castle itself does have a bathroom with shower, a full size refrigerator, and a full size stove/oven which was not on the listing. The guest house also has a bathroom and kitchenette but no stove/oven in it. Host had everything needed in the kitchen, pots pans utensils...

"It was nice quiet and cozy. The back yard was really fun to hang out and the decor was awesome. "

"We picked this wonderful location because it was a great meeting place to reunite families after some went on a 2 week motorcycle trip from Austin to Ny. We intercepted our spouses and friends on their journey back to austin and had a splendid night of swimming and catching up. Was very comfortable and clean. Highly recommend!"

"Getting into the property was easy and house was as described. The view from both floors of the lake was gorgeous. The neighborhood was very quiet, which was great for the retreat that we were on. The house was well stocked with everything needed to cook and serve. "

"My friend and I met in Livingston for our 50th High School Reunion. We wanted something quiet and accessible to town. This house is not only the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in, but it was also superbly stocked with so many extras that a person may need away from home, we were pleasantly surprised. It is nicely furnished. Such a cute house!! I would give this house a 10 out of 10. Management definitely is in it for excellent customer service. We would book again! "

"We used this cabin as a home base for a weekend full of family and friends all over SE Texas. We did not get a chance to explore the local area or the vacant lot but the cabin was great for what we needed."

"Upon arrival late on the evening, first impressions walking up were great. Well furnished, clean, charming. Went to turn on the bathroom sink and the waterfall faucet was spraying through the mineral buildup at the end of the faucet. Shower was the same way. Then the next day, noticed a hair tie on the kitchen sink and found out why it - the spray selector was broken. I don't want to touch somebody else's hair tie to do the dishes. It also absorbs water and gunk, which isn't very sanitary. Was...
