Cozy Cabin in the Woods - Lake Livingston, Texas

Built in 2018
Enchanting cabin nestled in the woods with a lively atmosphere and woods to explore.
With the lake and boat ramp just two blocks away, and many amenities this is a place fit for anyone!
Official horse shoe pit installed 2019.
Fishermen are welcome! Outside electrical to charge those trolling motor batteries! Relax in the hot tub on the back deck. Bring the wife, kids, and pets! Very comfortable size and surroundings. Beautiful inside and out, and it is very relaxing to sit on the porch and occasionally you may see a deer next door at the deer feeder.

Quaint little cabin in the woods
We had an amazing weekend disconnecting from the world together! We enjoyed to seclusion of the backyard with the lighting and hot tub! We enjoyed the back deck until 4:30 in the morning with conversation, laughter, tears, and more laughter! It was a weekend to remember! We will visit again!

Immaculate cabin, beautiful area, loved the trees and woods. Busy street behind, but it didn't turn out to be a problem. Loved the hot tub! The drives around the area were wonderful, and the Livingston State Park was a lovely plus!

Well-appointed, Shaded Cabin in the Trees
Driving into the neighborhood, the area across the highway isn't well kept and may be a bit off-putting; the cabin's neighborhood is pretty well kept, with a few outliers, and we had no safety issues. The cabin is well kept, tastefully-Texaned, and very comfortable. We grilled a few times (multiple choices for grills), but the weather was quite hot during our stay to thoroughly enjoy the decked outdoor area. Don't forget to pack your insect repellent. Overall, really enjoyed the cabin and would stay again.

Property was lovely. It was quiet and secluded. The only thing I didn’t like was that there are no TVs in the bedrooms. Everything else was great. Hot tub and outdoor area was awesome.

Cabin retreat
My family stayed for my birthday weekend and we all enjoyed the property. My kids favorite was the hot tub and our dog spent hours exploring the backyard. Great stargazing and multiple options for seating outside. The bedsheets were so soft I am going to get some for my house. We would book again.

Twice as Nice
This was our second time staying, and it was just as enjoyable as the first time. They built out the back patio around the hot tub creating more leisure space. It was the perfect getaway to decompress with my spouse before the holiday season. Will be back for a 3rd time.

Exploring with sons
What was most appreciated was that there were three bedrooms for me and my two adult sons. The kitchen was fully furnished. The stove oven and garbage disposal were out of order but the owners said that they would see to them being fixed and we weren't inconvenienced by the problems. We enjoyed the decorations throughout the cabin and liked the setting in among trees. It was near Livingston for us to have a couple meals there and visit the shops and crafts at Pedigo Park.

Cozy little Cabin
This cabin is nestled in the pine trees of East Texas. It is so cute, the beds are very comfortable, and the finishes are all updated or new. There is a jacuzzi tub inside and a private back yard with a hot tub. This is the perfect little getaway for a small group/family or couple just looking to disconnect and unwind. We will definitely be back and I'm sharing with my friends too.

Great place
We absolutely loved this place. There was a lot to offer visitors and was clean. They truly thought of everything. The only downside is that it is a diamond in a rough area. The surrounding properties are not as well maintained and the surrounding areas are very low income properties. I wanted to take a stroll and enjoy the country scenery with my dog, and was advised against it from a neighbor. However, I love this rental and all it had to offer.

Better than expected
We arrived early afternoon and when we drove up we didn't know what to expect. When we went inside we were absolutely amazed how cozy and clean, and up to date this cabin is. It is absolutely lovely. Hot tub was clean and very relaxing. For the fishermen....the cleaning table was very handy. One boat ramp is within 2 blocks and the one we used is about 15 minutes away. We were very satisfied with our stay and are looking forward to going back when it cools off some. If you want a quiet get away without neighbors sitting on top of you and a place to relax and kick back, give them a call and make it happen.

Nice property
I liked the property and we enjoyed our visit. This my 1st experience with Vrbo so I may not be familiar with cleaning fees vs checkout instructions from property owners. My upset was paying a substantial cleaning fee and then being asked to strip bedding, wipe down kitchen counters. As a guest on vacation- I am used to just packing up and leaving. In my opinion the cleaning fees should cover all cleaning. Not sure if I will Vrbo again due to costs.

Cozy, private, clean and peaceful. The only thing I would change is the cameras all over make you feel a tad watched ... I know they turn them off but I still felt watched. Otherwise the perfect retreat.

We loved our stay very much. The home was super cute in all Texas decor. Very homey! The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook up a great meal. You have grilling choices!! Pellet, charcoal, or gas! And the hot tub was perfect! Tammy and David are excellent hosts! There communication with us throughout the experience was a 10+! AMAZING weekend at "Cabin in the Woods"
The "Cabin in the Woods" was the perfect house for us to stay in for our anniversary weekend. We enjoyed watching movies, spending time in the hot tub, and just enjoying each other. The hosts were very informative and made great suggestions about local restaurants. Thanks for a great stay!

Quiet getaway
We wanted a place to have a quiet weekend and we found it. This little cabin is in a wonderful location near the lake and all of its amenities. The owners helped us find good places to eat and things to do. The cabin itself was beautifully done, extremely clean and very comfortable.

Spring Break 2022
We didn't do much research on what to do in Livingston, but we do not regret one second of this get-a-way! We enjoyed our relaxing stay at this cute little spot. Perfect for our family of 5. Our girls loved the hot tub, and playing outdoors. It's minutes away from the State Park, and a small town to get what you need. We fished, went kayaking, made smores and we paid for the girls to have horse back riding lessons at a local ranch. Everything about this stay was everything we needed to get away from reality and enjoy each other as a family. Definitely recommend. Now we love Livingston and plan to come back more prepared for swimming, trails and camping. Thanks for our wonderful experience in your beautiful home.
