"First time in Maine and road tripping from Ontario. We chose to stay here in a whim and have absolutely no regrets. The check-in process was very quick and the cottage was so beautiful. Lots of amenities on the property, including picnic areas and fire pits/firewood for private use. Easy to find and very close to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. We would definitely return if ever in Maine again… this place deserves nothing less than 5 stars!"

"This property is convenient to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. The kitchen was nice for our group to cook breakfast together. The house had lots of spaces to visit and plenty of seating both at the tables and in the common areas. Upstairs had no electrical outlets and smelled musty but we were able to work around the lack of electrical outlets and always travel with air freshener so it was okay."

"It's around 16 min by car from Bar Harbour and ~15 min walking from a trail that goes to a nice beach. The unit was great, and very cozy. We had a parking spot. The hosts were welcoming."

"The wall of windows overlooking the water was gorgeous! The deck was nice to watch the tide come and go. Walks along the beach were peaceful and relaxing. We had fun shopping in downtown Ellsworth and Bar Harbor. The sights in Acadia are not to be missed! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!"

"Great location for hiking Acadia NP. Inquired if there was a fire pit, the booking agency said no, but we found out as we were leaving that there was a shared fire pit-disappointed. Stairs to bedrooms were very steep-ok for able adults, but hazardous for children and others. Enjoyed the accommodations and location."

"Joseph and Christina's house is a quiet, clean, well-appointed house in a great location. It's on the quieter side of Mt. Desert Island (which was great for our family). Bass Harbor Head Light is right down the road (walking distance), and the lovely little town of Southwest Harbor is a short drive up the road. Bar Harbor and the big sights in Acadia NP are a just a short drive away. We loved our stay at Driftwood."

"We enjoyed our stay very much. If it had been warm enough to enjoy all of our meals outside that would have been wonderful. We didn’t plan or pack for any rain but when it poured for a solid day, we were thankful for the cabin’s shelter and wifi and umbrella when we went out. "My partner and I came to Bar Harbor to hike, bike the carriage roads, and have a comfortable clean place to rest each night. This property is perfect for travelers planning to be out and about most of their stay. Perfectly sized for two and has just what you need. Very helpful to have washer/dryer in site. You can grab laundry detergent from the gas station just down the street. Great communication. Very clean. Will definitely be back again."

"My husband and I flew in Wednesday, drove up the coast to see all the coastal Maine towns, then arrived at Acadia Yurts for the evening.
