"Would of liked to stay in a yurt/but we just happened ontothis VRBO and were fortunate to grab a cancellation timeslot. Ended up loving the spot. Seemed more secluded then the yurts. The owners thought of everything.(except a bathroom sink, but the kitchen sink is fine. Bed was comfortable. And the community sharing at the red barn was another thoughtful plus to the property. Great location for exploring the Acadia area. Book it ! You won't regret it."

"My family stayed for 3 nights to check out Acadia. The rental was perfect for our family of 3, the kitchen had everything we needed, and there was even a little grocery store less than a 1/4 mile down the road. It was about a 25 minute drive to get to most of the big Acadia sites since they are on the other side of the Island, like the Jordan Pond House, Thunder Hole, and Sieur De Mont.However, we considered that a good thing because it was much quieter and relaxing out in Southwest Harbor. "This location worked out perfectly for us as it was a short drive to Bar Harbor, Southwest Harbor and many of the Acadia entrances.
