"My family of four (young adult children) thoroughly enjoyed spending our New Year in Willie McLeod’s cottage. It is a charming and warm home from which to venture out on Skye. The cottage is well equipped and the kitchen ready for basic cooking. We loved it and would come back in anytime!"

"The property was very clean, and the hosts provided us with plenty of cookware to make meals plus an extensive book on local sightseeing, walks, and places to eat! Modern interior, very warm and cosy, and the bathroom/shower was very comfortable (no problems with hot water!). Lively views from the large windows and curtains to cover up the windows at night. Waking up to views of the hills was really special. Thanks very much!"

"Das Haus liegt definitiv nicht zentral. Das liegt aber in der Natur der Sache. Als einziges zu bemängeln war, dass die Heizungssteuerung etwas kompliziert war bzw. keine Informationen dazu Vorlagen. Ansonsten war das Haus sehr schön, es war alles vorhanden was man braucht und die Aussicht ist umwerfend. Definitiv zu empfehlen, wenn man Skyes Natur erleben möchte."

"We had a great time on Skye, staying at Shore Cottage. It was just what we needed as a group of 3 couples travelling by van. We were able to spread out and relax. the views across the water to Portree and the Old man of Storr, first thing in the morning was fantastic. Well appointed with everything you need, great cooking facilitys and washing machine etc, to catchup with the laundry. A great place for a relaxing stay."

We were asked ahead of time how we wanted bed configuration, it was suggested we could all have king beds (beds could be pushed together & made up as kings) well none of the 3 beds were like that when we got there. "We absolutely loved our 10 days in Flora's amazing cottage. Check in was simple and hassie free. It was very clean on arrival and was really well equipped with everything you could need for cooking meals. All appliances worked well and were very easy to operate. Very comfy beds, fluffy towels and the shower is amazing! "This charming cottage is even better in person than in pictures. We stayed 3 nights to explore Skye and our host, Liz, kept in constant contact with us to make sure we were taken care of. It felt like home away from home, with the best host we’ve ever had in our lives. There is a nice creek by the cottage to stroll and it is very quiet. "Everything about this place was perfect! The space was obviously designed for the ease and enjoyment of its guests. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking, the bedrooms were adorably decorated with comfortable beds and plenty of clothing storage. We named the spiders and left them alone and nobody was bothered by them.
