"Great getaway from Minneapolis. Perfect directions from owner for an out of the way location. Walks on the beach were so relaxing as well as the sunsets and fall leaf colors. We had a wonderful time."

"We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Urban Cottage! The space was incredibly comfortable, beautifully decorated, and provided the perfect atmosphere for us to unwind and reconnect. It was just the right backdrop for a peaceful reading retreat with my college friends. We loved the cozy ambiance. Whether we were curled up with a book or chatting, the cottage made us feel right at home. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway! "

"The cottage was very cute and well stocked with pots and pans and spices if you want to cook. The snacks and water were very much appreciated. The bed was very comfortable. We didn’t mind the sound of the trains at night but the blowing train whistle woke us a few times. There are ear plugs there if needed. Unfortunately the lake was over grown with vegetation so we didn’t kayak, but we brought our own bikes and rode the Cannon Falls trail in MN. The trail was beautiful. The owner...

"Girls' trip for 4 women of a certain age... we were able to spread out and each had a separate sleeping space, although some spots required a bit of a walk down the outside stairs or a walk through another bedroom to reach a bathroom. It worked great for us, though. Beds and linens all top quality, many extra blankets and pillows available. The kitchen was amazing! "Best home rental ever! "

"My husband is receiving treatment at Mayo and we wanted a change from the hotel scene. I saw Pine Cove Cottage on VRBO and fell in love with the pictures and...it was available! It is so much more than pictures could say! So comfortable. We havent been able to enjoy the grounds this visit due to my husbands limited mobility but we will definitely book again with hopes of seeing more. Thank you "

"My family and I rented both houses right next to each other. The set up was nice as one of the houses had a nice back deck overlooking the lake with plenty of room to hang out and enjoy the outdoors. The host was great and even brought us some fresh vegetables one afternoon from his garden. We really enjoyed our stay."

"In the below zero weather, we were greeted with a fire roaring in the wood burning fireplace and an immaculate and inviting log cabin well equipped for our 4-day stay. Troy checked in with us on our first afternoon to make sure all was good. It was! We thoroughly enjoyed the cozy feel of the cabin and the giant supply of wood to keep the fire burning. There was also a heater that would back up the warmth if the fire burned low overnight. We can’t wait to come again in every season!"
