"Great service by some hardworking folks. They were friendly and courteous. We loved the fire pits on the beach at night and the S’mores. A thoughtful touch. Small rooms and older hotel but clean and tidy. Good breakfast too. "

"While older, this property was a short walk into downtown Mackinaw City. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was great."

"Beautifully remodeled and maintained. The property had beautiful flowers everywhere. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Best hotel of 4 we stayed at on our honeymoon. Definitely would return. Great place at a very good price."

"Wonderful, peaceful place to stay."

"Cute log cabin theme and decor. Has free breakfast, an indoor pool and jacuzzi, and staff is very helpful and polite. Workout room is a treadmill, eliptical, and workout bike but is better than nothing. Also has a washer and dryer for guest use. Our room was clean and beds were comfy. We stayed here for 4th of July weekend and will keep this in mind for the future. "

"Lived the beach"

"We loved our stay at Lake View! It was easy to access, pool was on hand, conveniently located to ferry, and staff were so nice. We definitely will return. "

"Arrived about 5 hours early before check-in. Even with the craziness of the holiday weekend, they were able to get me checked in 3 hours earlier than anticipated. Room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Hotel was located close to downtown St. Ignace, and had quick access to the bridge. Which allowed us to beat a lot of the traffic going back south. Breakfast was great, service was great, we will definitely be back!"

"Love the old feel of the place. Only had minor paranormal activity. "

"Room was very spacious and clean. We were on the 2nd floor which wasn’t awful even with a baby and 2 year old. Everything was very walkable. We never moved our car after getting there. We absolutely loved staying here and would definitely come back when visiting Mackinac Island again!!!"
