"The house was secluded so that was a huge plus. Plenty of parking as well if you have multiple cars. Communication with host was lacking until the week of the stay. That aside, very nice stay."

"Bayview was perfect for a girls getaway. We were on the water, and the view was spectacular. The place had everything we needed and was located in a quiet neighborhood. The owners live in the unit below and couldn’t have been nicer. They had a large yard, and in the evening we would go out and watch the sun set and the moon rise. During these times, we visited with Deb and Dan and played with one of their dogs. I would definitely recommend and cannot wait to return. "

"Centrally located and walking distance to the ferry and shopping. This was a big plus! We like our space when sleeping so the beds were a little small but otherwise it was good. Some nice updates to the property."

"Our family had a perfect week. Everything in the house is excellent quality construction, very impressive to accomplish on a island with limited resources. The property is very large, impressive, peaceful, beautiful, among other flattering adjectives. The views from the house are honestly one of a kind. We had 8 adults and 5 kids for the week and we were very comfortable. Definitely recommend."

"This was the perfect place to stay for a winter getaway to the beautiful U.P. The location is minutes from the grocery and a nice central home base for hiking and sight seeing. The house is huge and can accommodate up to 8 adults. There is ample cooking space and the owners really made us feel at home with the small details and amenities they offered! Definitely worth the booking. We’d love to visit during the busy summer season! "

"We absolutely loved staying at this cabin. It is a one of a kind cabin, thoughtfully restored to transport you back in time. It's unique. A very old propane stove and irefrigerator add to the charm. Because it's an old home, don't expect to have all of the modern comforts - but if you want to connect to nature and disconnect from the modern world (like we did) then look no further. "We came to Michigan from Ohio because our son got married on Mackinac Island. The location of this rental was perfect. Just a short drive to the ferry we all had a wonderful time. The view was ANAZING!"

I had sent her a message a week before asking if there was a coffee pot or Keurig to bring pods but never got a reply. After arriving we tried our absolute best to get the WiFi but it would not connect. I sent her another email with no reply the entire 4 days we were there "

"Everything was 100% perfect. Correspondence with mgnt company, to check in, to decor and comfort of the house. Everything we needed was provided and it was a delightful place to unwind and enjoy. The surrounding beauty made it a perfect central location for all the sites!"

"Very pleased. Although the mattresses on the beds are very hard. Would suggest the following to make guests more comfortable: hooks for clothing and wet towels. There is no place to hang anything in the bedrooms or bathrooms. Waste basket in bathroom. Fitted sheets on bunk beds. Another chair by the couch area. Stools at breakfast bar nice. Take the plastic off light in bunk bed area. Not safe and could melt to glass if it hasn’t already. New Broom. I will upload photos. "

"Two friend couples stayed for a long weekend. The condo was beautiful, the communication was excellent and we will definitely be booking again. Such a wonderful experience all the way around."

"The house was very spacious and exceeded our expectations. Great location to restaurants and ferry. No major issues that needed addressing with host during our stay. Bedrooms were large and comfortable. My only suggestion would be to have a grill for use during stay and a bit nicer / more comfortable deck furniture for enjoying the nice sized deck and views. Otherwise great property and would definitely consider staying again. "

"The name of the property says it all!! The one room cabin was a perfect get away. There was access to the bike trail directly across the street and the 7 mile bike ride into town was very nice. It was nice to “come home” each night to our own place. There were no issues - the binder of information regarding the property was helpful and the cookies were delicious!"

"Great location. Beautiful views "

"Nice hotel for the area. The first room we were in was right next to the highway, the trucks made it very noisy. after asking for a different room, it was much better. The hotel is kept up ok but is showing its age. The walls are thin and we heard people walking upstairs a lot. The shining star of this hotel is the staff,they were always friendly and upbeat! We vacation in the area a lot and it’s getting harder to find places that are independent, we will be back, I’m sure. "
