"The house was secluded so that was a huge plus. Plenty of parking as well if you have multiple cars. Communication with host was lacking until the week of the stay. That aside, very nice stay."

"We absolutely loved staying at this cabin. It is a one of a kind cabin, thoughtfully restored to transport you back in time. It's unique. A very old propane stove and irefrigerator add to the charm. Because it's an old home, don't expect to have all of the modern comforts - but if you want to connect to nature and disconnect from the modern world (like we did) then look no further. I had sent her a message a week before asking if there was a coffee pot or Keurig to bring pods but never got a reply. After arriving we tried our absolute best to get the WiFi but it would not connect. I sent her another email with no reply the entire 4 days we were there "

"Very pleased. Although the mattresses on the beds are very hard. Would suggest the following to make guests more comfortable: hooks for clothing and wet towels. There is no place to hang anything in the bedrooms or bathrooms. Waste basket in bathroom. Fitted sheets on bunk beds. Another chair by the couch area. Stools at breakfast bar nice. Take the plastic off light in bunk bed area. Not safe and could melt to glass if it hasn’t already. New Broom. I will upload photos. "

"Our family had a perfect week. Everything in the house is excellent quality construction, very impressive to accomplish on a island with limited resources. The property is very large, impressive, peaceful, beautiful, among other flattering adjectives. The views from the house are honestly one of a kind. We had 8 adults and 5 kids for the week and we were very comfortable. Definitely recommend."

"It was nice over all you go through a sketchy area to get back to there and the pool is shared with the motel you drive through. There’s two parking spaces and 3 cabins, only other thing is it was clean but the tops of everything besides the kitchen was coated with dust and spider webs "

"The sunset views from this house are absolutely breath-taking! The house had plenty of space for family to gather as well as space to sit in a corner and read with an amazing view. The location feels quiet and serene, but it’s also 15 minutes from the conveniences of St Ignace and the shuttle to the island. Highly recommend."

"Overall the house was fine and we'd stay there again. However, a few suggestions: 1. There were only two forks in the silverware drawer. Obviously this needs to be corrected. 2. There were no shades on the bedroom windows and the curtains didn't do a very good job. 3. It would be nice to have a box of Kleenex. 4. The garage was a mess. We didn't use it, but if somebody wanted to, they would've had to clean it first."

"Three of us stayed at the house before we walked the Mackinac Bridge for Labor Day! The location could not have been better! The house was great, very nicely redone and decorated. We had what we needed and were all comfortable. The view of the water and bridge from around the owners house was beautiful and we felt very comfortable walking through their yard. "Good breakfast, heater was very loud at night. 2nd night we unplugged it and slept great. I would say all on all better then any others we have stayed in around the area. Staff was great!"
