"We had a group of 5 adults who were in the area for a family wedding. Pioneer house was perfect as it had enough room for us to spread out and it also had areas where we could all gather and tell stories. The house was similar to one I lived in when I was growing up so that was nostalgic! The grounds were amazing and so fu to explore. If we are ever in the area again, I would love to visit The Pioneer House again."

"This house was the perfect stay for my entire family! Traveling with kids and dogs, we couldn’t have asked for a better place! We stayed for the Fourth of July and it was amazing to see the fireworks with a beautiful view while still being quiet inside for our kids to sleep. They were very responsive with any questions I had. It’s a very relaxing area to stay and enjoy some quality time with family. Quiet neighborhood and very easy access to the waterfront! We would definitely stay here again!"

"What a great place, right on the beach! It was so fun to see all of the wildlife (seagulls, eagles, lots of birds and even a seal swam by!!) and watching a big storm roll in, from the big picture windows! This well-stocked home had everything we needed to enjoy some time together on the sound. Looking forward to staying again!"

"The location is quite secluded with a gated entry. The home was very clean with cute little touches. No complaints about the bed and bedding... again very clear and comfortable. Our plan was to relax away from home and enjoy the New Years games with friends that live nearby, however, we weren't able to connect to the internet for any television viewing whatsoever. Stairs to unit are a bit rickety and the grab rail to the left going up is in need of repair. It nearly broke when I leaned on it to help me go up and is even worse trying to go down.
