"Beautiful hotel and nicely decorated rooms. At check-in, reception staff called Victoria was not very welcome and did not seem keen on relocating us to another room (the one given to us was on a lower level and the lift was out of order). I was with a 1 year old child, pregnant and had heavy suitcases, however she insisted there's was nothing she could do to help, treated us poorly and did not seem to care. "Perfect location at the beach, felt remote from the rest of the world, ideal for taking a short break. Our quadruple room (sea view to the side) was comfortable with all amenities and had two bathrooms. A door between the two bedrooms would have been better. The cooked breakfast had to be ordered, good variety of breakfast items available. The food served in the restaurant for dinner was also very good. Overall the staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The spa area was a bit of a let...

"We really enjoyed our 3 night stay. Staff are exceptional, breakfast and evening meal was excellent, room very comfortable and well equipped. Can't wait to see the place after refurb, will definitely stay again and would thoroughly recommend."

"Great stay , comfortable room.. i would suggest the family room would have been better placed into the double and single bed room as there room has much more space and with 1 double 1 single in there seemed alot of space wasted .. no window to open in the family room , with 4 people in there an open window would be great. The fire exit green light in the bedroom is WAY to bright. Overall lovely decor , clean room , friendly staff.. Thank you "

"I liked the historic interest in the property it would a good idea to offer a printed brochure showing some of the history of the structure. We did not like the shower set up the nozzle kept drooping down so it was a real Nuisance trying to shower"

"My friend and I stayed a night and it was perfect. The parking was very easy, and while I slept in, my friend thought that the breakfast that was included was great. The bathroom was clean and the room itself was very cozy and spacious. We ran into car troubles on the way over, and the person I spoke with on the phone was very understanding about us checking in after hours. Would highly recommend!"

"The property was spotlessly clean and in great condition. Beds were very comfortable and overall it was very cosy with easy access to the beach. The indoor swimming pool was a great hit with our kid and there was lots to do nearby.
