"Friendly staff, great location"

"We had the best trip. St John is beautiful. We were able to walk to town every night. The hill walk was a workout but we like the exercise. The owner was the best and always answered quickly helped with advice on the island. We really didn’t spend much time in the room because … why would you when you are on a beautiful island? "

"I have stayed here a few times since 2014 and it has always be amazing. The owner is great, the property management company is very accommodating and ready to help with anything and answer any questions. Everything is pristine and decorated beautifully. Location cant be beat, taxis, restaurants, shopping, tours etc. The balcony view is my favorite in the entire resort.I will definitly be back. "

"Michael's cottage was perfect for our 20th anniversary trip to St. John. The unit is well equipped and centrally located to all the island has to offer. We would stay here again or at one of Michael's other properties if we brought the whole family. "

"Location! Location! Location!I cannot get over how convenient and beautiful this place is. Providing a beautiful view of the pool And beach. Not to mention all the amenities inside the condo and the surrounding area. From necessary basics such as updated functioning appliances down to some thoughtful details like extra sun screen, aloe vera gel tha the cleaning staf made sure to leave out for us, even a pack and play for little ones. Although the way back is a continuous steep climb, however the difficult journey is compensated by other advantages of the villa.The Starfish Market, E&C Gas/Service Station and trash containers just 5 minutes drive away. "On 6/21/25 we were coming from a 5 day sailing trip in the BVIs and forgot to read the “instructions” so we took a taxi at the ferry terminal. The driver had no idea where the house was. "Our stay in Pirates Cove was absolutely amazing. Everything was as it was stated in the description. Very close to town and the beaches were only a short drive away. Communication was amazing with the owners. "

"Very clean! Close proximity to the Sapphire Beach and Red Hook. A/C worked really well, which is a blessing in the heat and humidity.Only gripe would be the bed pillow as i wasnt my cup of tea, but not going to ding against the owner as that's a very subjective opinion. You are able to see the ocean from your balcony too, which is a plus! Overall a solid pick and great value!"
