"Overall stay was nice and rental was unique and clean and we loved the country feel. Very lovely home. Disappointed that the refrigerator and freezer did not work all during our stay and we lost some groceries that we ended up having to throw out. It was inconvenient that we had to keep getting ice to keep in the freezer to keep some things cool like an ice chest, but we compromised. Thought the owner would have compensated us something for the inconvenience, but he totally stopped replying...

"Most of our issues were not the owners fault. We booked for a "respite" as promised, but mother nature was brutal. There were storm issues, but Im NOT blaming them for that. Its truly an adorable cabin in the woods. I booked because of the descriptions on the gardens, etc. We were wanting quiet fam time for our daughter in school.. and bummer! Its NOT QUIET. "Stay was adequate. Back porch was nice (although no view). Neighbors were nice and we felt safe walking around. Beds were average comfort for vrbo.Listing had it 1.5 bathrooms. I don't count a random toilet in the laundry room with no toilet paper and no sink as a half bathroom.Communication with hosts were excessive and borderline rude in some situations. They have notes and signs posted all over the house which are excessive, sometimes rude, and a little ridiculous. I've had other VRBOs...

"I came to town for work for a week and decided to stay here instead of a hotel. The house was well stocked, especially the kitchen. An intresting place to stay. Nice and clean and good communicating from the owners. The train line out the back is a little loud, but that would be the case staying anywhere in town. Really enjoyed the stay and would go back."
