"Beautiful hotel, fantastic staff, a central location (with parking!) and a bar that’s open until much later than I can stay awake. The off site spa, gym & pool is also excellent. Overall, a really good stay, the staff are exceptional. The rooms have a few quirks, old widow frames that can be tricky to close, which can lead to noise from outside. "No frills hotel in the middle of Leeds. Easy walk from the station and short bus ride to Stylus at Leeds Uni to watch a band. Great value and didn't cost much more than an Uber would have been to go back to Halifax. Check-in was easy, bed and pillows were comfy, air con was efficient and water was hot and powerful. Yes there's not much room round the bed and the bathroom is small but for 1 night it was fine. There was no view and we couldn't open our window but like I said the air con cooled...
