"The Arc Harrogate is a small but fantastic hotel. There were detailed instructions sent to me about everything before I arrived and I had a lovely warm welcome from the owner. The parking is on street parking, but the hotel provided the necessary permits, complete with a photo of how to display them and details of what time the parking ran out.
The room was spotless and very well serviced. Every day the bathroom was cleaned, the tea and coffee supplies topped up and so on.

"Everything you need in a minimal space! Very practical accomodation, right in the middle of Harrogate. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom and kitchen.
The street can be a bit noisy, easy access through public transport, but parking can be a bit of a pain."

"Lovely historic building with a nod to the past in the internal character but with an overall modern feel within the rooms. Comfy bed, clean bathroom and a safety deposit box and toiletries which made this a lovely room. Would have liked a better view, we were in room 145 at the back of the property and tbe coffee/tea tray was on a unit where there wasnt a plug so had to keep moving the entire tray to the dressing table when using the kettle. "Stayed 2 nights in single room with shared bathroom. Very basic but sufficient room for my needs.Shared bathroom close to my room. Shower very hot and couldn't seem to reduce the temperature.
Main issue was check in ...they wanted photo ID proof. This wasn't mentioned in check procedure, luckily l had an ID badge through work but a couple checking in at same time didn't and we're told it policy that they couldn't stay without Photo ID ...not sure if they got a refund .. probably not "
