"The Knighton Hotel is quiet and well-located. Unfortunately, they don't do meals, although they do have a coffee shop, which I didn’t try as I was out allday walking. The evening I arrived there was a leak through the inspection hatch in the ceiling of my room. When I reported it I was instantly moved to another and larger room (turned out the leak was coming from the shower in the room above). Good service there. "The type of home stay that Tom offers is one of the joys travelling, particularly as a solo walker. Tom is an excellent host and his cottage is beautiful. He has thought of everything to make his guests comfortable and as a walker I was very happy to have a soak in the bath and be offered laundry facilities. Thanks again Tom :) "

"I was in Knighton for a wedding and had a great stay at The Red Lion. The owners were very welcoming and nice to chat to, the room was simple but nice and clean, the hotel is in a great location and breakfast was great. I wish I had stayed longer after seeing how lovely the surrounding area is!"

"La zona es muy tranquila y bonita. La casa esta en muy buenas condiciones y la calefaccion va genial. Quiza deberian revisar un poco el menaje, pero es cierto que dejan todo lo necesario para limpiar. El trato es via mobil o e.mail, pero eficiente. A mas dejan detalles para la llegada y se agradece mucho. Repetiriamos sin problemas. "
