"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Drake Bay Getaway Lodge. Nestled high in the trees with a spectacular view of Drake Bay, we went to sleep with the sound of the pounding surf and the calls of green-eyed tree frogs and awoke every morning to the sounds of Capuchin monkeys and yellow toucans. Do yourself a favor and have dinner at the hotel as often as you can. Chef Lily is a true artiste both in terms of flavour and presentation. "Basic hotel so not for the luxury travelers but bed was comfy and shower good. Has a patio where I could sit and watch birds in the trees. Owner very friendly- made me breakfast every day and provided rides to and from ferry and airport for a small extra fee. Great base for doing Corcovado activities "
"We stayed 5 nights at Hotel Margarita. We had them (Alberto) book our tours and found that if you pay cash (dollars or colones) you save some money on your tours. We did the snorkeling (well worth the money!) - 4 different snorkeling stops, an island stop and a wonderful lunch at a local restaurant. Corcovado Park tour - make sure and take shoes to get wet getting in and out of the boat, as well as shoes to wear while touring the park (they provide a lunch at the part and you are not allowed...
"Loved this hotel. Excellent food and service. The view were fabulous, we saw toucans, macaws and humming birds from our terrace. We chose to travel from Sierpe and the boat ride to the hotel was very exciting! Would definitely stay again and hope to come back soon!"

"The staff was helpful, warm and kind. The room was stunning. Wrap around windows, including the bathroom shower. Views of the ocean and up the hill into the trees. We regularly watched pairs of macaws fly in front of us. Immaculately clean. The coffee and yogurt served in the dining hall were unusually tasty.
I highly recommend staying here if you go to Osa. Ask for room 3! Many of the tours depart from here, and it's the closest to the supermarket and laundry.

"L'endroit est parfait pour explorer Baie Drake et en étant un peu retiré pour la tranquillité. Sebastian le proprio offre le service de taxi pour un prix très raisonnable. Le balcon donne sur les arbres et les singes viennent à cet endroit. Sécuritaire pour aller seule à pied au village le soir avec lampe frontale. 1 km de la mer et 2 km du village. Super endroit confortable et chaleureux."

"My husband and I found this property that was right in the beach. You can hear the waves you are that close. We took walks on the beach and Kenneth helped set up the scuba and snorkel trip we too that picked us up on the beach !!
We had a room with outdoor kitchen and balcony with hammock and a view of the ocean.
We would return to the same room if we visit Drake Nay again !!"

"Casa pequena is a lovely place held by a genuinely nice young couple. For nature and simplicity lovers this place is like heaven. Comfort is basic overall and the owners offer the option to have lunch and dinner on site with good local food. Internet access is a scare ressource only accessible from the main building for the time being but you don't really go there to spend your day on social networks. This is better to have your own car and a 4x4 is needed to access the site and the beaches...
"Tres bel endroit, personnel attentionné et très gentil, le barman et manager Mario est toujours disponible pour repondre aux questions et organiser des tours. À quelques pas de ma plage, la nourriture est excellente, que ce soit au dejeuner au diner ou au souper. Seul petit bémol, il n’y a pas d’air climatisée dans les chambres donc un peu chaud mais il y avait tout de meme un ventilateur. "
