"I stay here on a regular basis. They always remeber my name and are exceptional at customer service. The hotel is modern, clean and set in a very old building. Food stunning Well worth a visit on business or holiday."

"Will definately stay again, lovely rooms with very comfy beds and a great view. Check in/out was very straightforward, staff very polite and accommodating. Breakfast was lovely too with a good range to chose from on menu."

"Excellent rooms. The only downside was the spa facilities was not included in the price except between 7am to 9am it was an extra £20 to £30 per a person at all other time which i thought let down the hotel. I would of not booked it if i knew there was an extra cost."

"Good stay. Beautiful hotel and grounds. Room clean and had all required amenities, although I found the bed a little too soft, but my husband slept well. Staff very friendly, although we requested extra tea bags and milk twice, but it didn’t arrive. Went down to reception but unmanned. However, Harry on the bar was brilliant."

"Was looking for a good value place to stay for a work trip. This place was perfectly fine for the price and the staff were helpful. Looks like the bathrooms have been recently refurbished to a good standard. Free parking included is a bonus."

"Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the Club room was very comfortable and stylish. I liked the pool and health club area, the facilities were excellent. All the staff I came across were friendly and kinds. Breakfast in the morning was lovely, a good selection of hot and cold options. Only thing that I would suggest is to have a regular cup in the room for those wanting a cup of tea. The coffee cups to go with the coffee pod machine are really small for a regular drink. "Fantastic stay albeit short. Reception very helpful, grounds and hotel are stunning with parking on site. The room was large, luxurious and the bed was just dreamy. Despite the large number of guests eating, breakfast was very good and didn’t feel too busy. Overall, a luxurious stay even we didn’t use the gym, pool, spa or golf facilities. Great value for money. "After reading negative reviews after I had already booked, I was regretting my choice, but fortunately I was happy with my decision. When I arrived, the gentleman on reception was very kind and attentive. He allowed us into our room early without additional charge,, as he noticed how cold we were. The room was clean and tidy. We asked for new bedding which we immediately got with no problem. "

"O hotel em si é bem precário. O ar condicionado dos quartos e corredores dos quartos nao gela. A estrutura do quarto era precária, sendo que reservei o melhor quarto do hotel. Metade das tomadas nao funcionava,tive que usar extensor de tomadas, ar condicionado como ja mencionei- nao gela, tive q pedir 2 ventiladores para conseguir dormir, ha limitadores de pressao e vazao de agua nos banheiros - privada e bidê. E para piorar ainda cobram aluguel de guarda-chuvas, quando deveriam oferecer gratuitamente para uso dos hospedes. "
