Sarasota Cozy & Clean, Near #1 Beach Siesta in SouthGate Neighborhood

SouthGate neighbor is a quiet older neighborhood with lots of trees. Good for walking or biking. Phillippi Creek runs by our backyard. We want to assure all of our guests that we are following enhanced COVID-19 cleaning and disinfecting procedures. Your security and peace of mind is our highest priority! This charming unit is located near almost everything. It is just a few minutes away from shopping, Sarasota Memorial Hospital, many restaurants and the Legacy Trail. Beautiful Siesta Key Beach is only 5 miles away and downtown just 2 miles away. The apartment itself has been recently renovated and is very cozy. You have your own private entrance. Apartment shares one wall. Sparkling clean and fresh, it features stainless appliances and quartz countertops. The bedroom has a comfy queen bed with an abundance of soft pillows and blankets. There are two smart TVs with access to Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon Prime, Disney which you can log into with your own account. A secure high speed WiFi for units use only. Also an area to work at with your laptop or tablet. There is a full size washer and dryer inside the unit. There is everything you could possibly need for your home away from home! The unit also includes a designated parking space near the front door. Sorry, We don’t have room for 3 wheel bikes in the unit. You can store in back yard.
* What makes our place unique?
-Our beautiful garden area is easy to access and enjoy. We have a nice outside screened porch as well as large pergola with seating and dinning to enjoy lunch or dinners on outside grill.
-Our hot tub is available for use.
-We supply beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels, cooler and ice packs.

Lovely Accommodations in Sarasota
Our stay was delightful. The apartment was as charming & spacious as the online pictures indicated. Verlaine was helpful and prompt in answering our questions. We will definitely come back for another adventure in Sarasota.

Great hidden gem.
Great place to stay in while in Sarasota. This is like a hidden gem. Very nice and quiet. Very clean. Smells like new. Great AC. Everything you need is included. Even had beach chairs/beach umbrella/cooler. This is a great place to stay if you going to Siesta Key. Quick short drive.

A great home away from home!

Welcoming!
Stayed in town for a wedding. Host was very understanding and accommodating for our stay. On top of that, the place was beautiful, clean, and had a welcoming aura! Location was also great and not too far out from the beaches. I would definitely stay here again!

Amazing, quiet, well-kept apartment close to Siesta Village and the beaches. Beautiful gardens and sitting areas outside, great amenties inside. Large bathroom with shower, full kitchen, spacious closet/laundry room with full-sized washer and dryer. TVs with streaming options available. Comfortable queen bed. The owner is very accomodating and friendly, always available to assist with any needs. Will return!!

Perfect place for my Dad
I booked this for my Dad who had never stayed in a Vrbo before. He raved about how nice and clean and cozy the apartment was! His exact words “this place is awesome!” it was so nice to know that what was presented online was exactly how the property was in real life. Great experience!
The location was great! Perfect for our needs and the activities we attended. Quiet and clean! Amenities, supplies, instructions and information about the place were informative and spot-on. The layout of the apartment was family friendly to have a kid asleep and still being able to do things and not disturb them. Verlaine, the owner, was very friendly! We had no issues and would stay there again! Thank you for the great experience!

This was my first time staying in an Airbb. Absolutely cozy. Beyond accommodation then a five-star hotel. Beach towels, playpen, tinfoil, indoor grill, hot tub, state of the kitchen. Soft bedding, lovely linens throughout. Quite appliances. All the bells and whistles. Record player with a killer collection ,Bosé sound systems throughout. Beautifully landscaped. First aid, toothbrush, extra bathmats and banboo shower seat. Tastefully decorated. Books magazines board games blender coffe maker and kcup appliance. Seasonings, olive oil. I can go on and on. - could not figure how to turn AC on. It was cool outside enough to have windows open. No kitchen cleaning spray, broom? Felt bad i couldnt tidy up after cookie decorating. My My daughter and I baked Christmas cookies on high heat and it was not stifling. The stove exhaust vent was beast! Pots pans , kitchen linens, laundry soap sheets. Dryer balls. Again, best 1st experience, I will definitely stay again. Great private parking. Bicycle renting in back porch area. Bed was very comfortable. Grocery and gas 1 mile up main street. Guerrero bakey and Restaurant convenient close to property and is fantastic. I cant wait to go back.

This was our first girls trip to Sarasota, FL and staying here was great! The apartment was very inviting, clean, and relaxing. It was also centrally located to everything we wanted to do so we didn’t have to travel far. Definitely recommend to anyone and would stay again.

Amazing Stay
We had an amazing stay at Verlaine’s! The apartment was decorated very beautifully and extremely clean. The host was super accommodating. The location is very close to everything you could want and need. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. We were in town for work. One morning we mentioned we wanted to bring coffee for our work group and Verlaine had everything we needed ready. The beaches nearby were gorgeous, we were even able to borrow beach chairs and a cooler from the host for the day. The bed was fantastic, very comfortable. Bathroom was so spacious my wife and I even had our own sinks. Has a full kitchen fully stocked and was able to make our meals while we were there. Will definitely stay here again if we come back to Sarasota.
