He heard me outside bbq and came to the fence to greet me. Of course he got a treat (Julia provides them). It was super clean too. Definitely returning. Beautiful area."

"We were disappointed with the lack of amenities at the property. We only had bath towels, no hand towels or washcloths. The kitchen was nice with nice appliances but the coffee machine’s water container was dirty with hard water build up. All of the locations that we have stayed in have provided coffee pods and condiments. There was.absolutely nothing at this place. "The cottage is perfect for two people. My husband and I enjoyed are stay. Very private and perfect for a quick get away to attend a wedding. The back yard was well kept and we saw rabbits and birds in the morning. Very charming. One tip for the ladies, the bathroom area is not lit very well. Not the greatest to get ready and apply make up. However, there is a cute desk in front of a window with a lamp that was perfect lighting to apply make up. Aside from that it was simple and charming. "This was a little slice of magic as our base for visiting Sequoia. A heads up that being less than 10 miles from the park actually means that it'll take you an hour of switchback driving to get to the General Sherman tree, but the drive up (and back) is spectacular as you get up into the mountains. The house is well put together, and there were nice touches like having dishwasher tablets ready to go, and plenty of coffee pods. Laurabelle was great to communicate with, and you're less than a 5...
