"This is exactly the type of property we were hoping for when we booked it. It is located in a very quiet country setting on the river front, but is still only about a fifteen minute drive to the downtown historic district of Nachitoches. There is so much to see and do, not to mention the great food choices at the local restaurants. "Colvin’s Cove was perfect for our family getaway! They thought of everything to make the stay easier on their guests. We never had to leave the house, we played so many games as a family, and made tons of memories. We are already trying to figure out when we can come back!"

"The house was clean and had all the amenities listed. The beds are comfortable and we all slept well. The house is uniquely decorated which made our stay even more lovely. Location is a short drive to all area attractions. We had a problem with DVD player and the owner was super responsive. Highly recommend staying here."

"Every year the ladies in our family pick a weekend in December to travel somewhere and see Christmas lights. This year we went to Natchitoches, LA for their Christmas Lights Festival. We stayed at A&A Lakehouse and we so happy we did! The location was perfect (close to downtown), clean, plenty of room for the seven of us and the host was so nice and very responsive. We plan on coming back for the 100 anniversary of the Christmas Festival and will MOST definitely try to book this property...
