"We wish we had booked more time to stay in this little piece of heaven! Marcus was super accommodating and the place was exquisite with everything we needed. There is a resident black cat on the property (who we called Pantera, supposedly male) who was very affectionate and seemingly a protector of us, we will miss him dearly. "Beautiful little Cottage in a convenient quiet setting. Very close to restaurants and entertainment. Owner was very responsive. Cottage had everything we needed. My wife and I stayed here and made a trip to New Orleans to visit the WWII Museum, which is a must see (2 day trip easily). I would definitely recommend this location, and I would stay again if we are in the area."

"The cabin is located near the back of the property. You can’t see it from road. It’s a gem of cabin. Might feel a little sketchy (per my daughter) driving down driveway, but I assure it is NOT! Cabin was clean and spacious. I definitely see staying a weekend here to enjoy the creek area. The sand was a bit aggravating as we were attending formal events, but nothing a little wet cloth didn’t fix. Great stay! "

"I’m not sure where start so I will make a list… -we were given the wrong check in instructions. The info I was given by the host was for the room of a different occupant. I ended up opening the door of a family staying in their cabin bc the host failed to give me proper check in instructions. We had to wait nearly an hour for the host to give me directions to the unit we were assigned (I have screenshots to prove this) - there were no towels (the listing said there would be) -the internet did...

"The property exceeded our expectations! The house was very clean and welcoming. We will definitely keep this property in mind for future trips. The neighborhood is also super cute with a lot of shops and restaurants within walking distance including a trail on the lake. As a group of just girls we felt very safe at this property."

"We enjoyed our stay. We were greeted by the sweetest dog, Flash. The house was clean and well decorated. It was very quiet at night. The bed was very comfortable. Communication with the owners was easy. The only thing to make mention of is that the bathroom is downstairs from the bedroom so for those that get up at night for “little trips” know you will have to go downstairs. "

"If you’re looking for a place where you can stay on property the entire time and not see another person the entire stay, OR a place to fill your stay with all the activities you can fit in, this fits the bill. This cabin is our favorite getaway spot and this was our fifth time here. Bill and Karen are the best hosts, and communication with them is so easy. We always come away from our stay relaxed and recharged, and are already ready to come back!"
