"We came for the royal gorge Santa express train. They allowed us to check in early so we could make our train time. Once we had gone our dog became anxious and got out of the room and wouldn’t get back in. Thanks to this owner he was patient and understanding and helped me resolve the issue. I absolutely appreciate their support in allowing us to still stay after all that. We also had a great sleep! "The property was recently sold and i feel they were not quite ready for quest .amenities were poor .The room was quiant but there were no hangers or alot of space to put things .This property has great potential. The new owners were working daily on improvements .The closest dining is in salida which is about 15 minutes from the property."
