"The views were amazing. The kitchen was well stocked with seasonings and utensils. If you aren't wanting a stay away from town don't book this property but if getting away is what you have in mind this is definitely the place you want."

"My stay was amazing! Shari was so sweet and welcoming, and the space was warm, comfortable, and in a beautiful location - perfect to be just a few minutes from the center of town, and also with the perfect amount of solitude near the stream, with a gorgeous mountain view. "

"Everything went great, a beautiful picturesque place, just keep in mind that the nearest Walmart is 45 minutes away :) And the access road is a bit long, unpaved, but you can't find a better place for privacy, the house has all the amenities and the internet works well."

"A beautiful and peaceful property. Great communication from the host. They provided excellent information through email, text and the Welcome Book at the cabin. The cabin was clean and well stocked with extra blankets and towels. The kitchen was clean and had everything that you needed. A great home base for adventuring around Salida and the Arkansas river. Definitely would stay here again! "

" Very Private and relaxing. Stargazing was the best couldn’t believe how many stars you saw with no light pollution.. Chipmunks Squirels ohh my lol and saw an Elk and a baby walk right by on other side of fence The house was clean and well decorated. It is an older house so don’t expect glamour but everything you will need for a relaxing trip. "

"Stayed here with two friends for a fun, peaceful weekend. We hiked, stood under the eaves with our drinks when it rained and looked at the scenery, and spent a memorable Saturday night around the firepit. Two fawns ran by with their mother one morning, and we took a drive to the Arkansas to watch the water and the rafters go by. They say nature is healing and so is laughter, a great cabin and a helpful, friendly, fun owner. We loved it! "

"My spouse and I loved the cabin. I greatly appreciated the level of care the cabin was prepared with; it had everything ready and was very clean. It was perfect for the two of us. It was fun to roam around the grounds and see how close it was to the national forest. It was a perfect drive to Mt. Princeton too. It was definitely a 5/5 stay. "

"My fiancé and I came here to celebrate his birthday and get some time to unplug. It was quiet and beautiful. The views were amazing as well! The bed is comfortable, the bathrooms are very nice, and the tent was equipped with everything we needed. They provided us with fire logs, starter kit, and instructions as well which was great and super easy to do. Thanks for the relaxing weekend!"
