"The worker who checked us in was so welcoming and did a great job explaining all of the benefits of the property and surrounding area. We really appreciated the maps with local hikes! We stayed in cabin 7 and it was huge, had a great layout and was so cute and cozy! We wish we would have booked a longer stay! "

"This place is great. Cabins are super cute, but it's the balcony and the view (and the staff) that make this place a must visit. Beware, the restaurant (with yummy food) closes at 8pm. Next time we'll come for more than one night! "

"Good room n easy to locate "

" The property was wonderful and the staff was welcoming. My only problem was the fitness center which had very poor air conditioning. I’m not into hot yoga and fitness centers are usually very cool to encourage workouts. I hope that this will be corrected by our next visit. Otherwise, the stay was excellent."

"we had a really wonderful day. It was quiet comfortable. You can adjust the air conditioning, which was very nice. It was 98° in Roseburg. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home while we stayed. We met lots of nice people there too at the hotel."

"Run by a young couple, it says “Howard Johnson Express Inn” in front, which made me feel like my GPS sent me to the wrong place but no: this was the one. The room was quite big, and had been refurbished. Breakfast was not what I expected (no hot items but pancakes). Plenty of noise from the Highway in front of the hotel, but it didn’t bother me. Good value for money."

"Beautifully restored late-1800's house, full of classic period antiques, original wood panelling, and beautifully decorated rooms. Close to downtown Roseberg, and near freeways. The hosts were warm and gracious, a font of historic knowledge on the house and the area. Beautiful gardens surround the house. A wonderful stay overall. Highly recommended."
