"It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. "

"Property was great! Very clean and close to a lot of bars and restaurants. We did get woken up at 1am when all of the 20 years old got out of the bars … but comes with the location! "

"Clean, very comfortable and roomy, kitchen, bathroom, and bed were great, very pretty, quiet neighborhood, perfect location, very close to beaches, restaurants, and Newport. Instructions from Derek were very clear and easy to follow. We would definitely stay there again."

"Big house with room for lots of people adults and kids. Great location on lake basically all by yourself. We kayaked across the lake and hiked around it. Many other hiking trails in the area. Great history in all directions. Easy access to skiing and the ocean. "

"We visited to celebrate a birthday. The space was perfect for the 4 of us. The location was great as well, walking distance to downtown. We all enjoyed ourselves and loved the decor and snacks left by the host. They even left a birthday present for our friend! We will definitely be back!"

"Caitlin and Chris’ place is cozy, tranquil and situated in beautiful area. You can easily walk into town or drive to other great locations such as Stonnington, Westerly and Newport. This was our third or fourth time staying with them and have never been disappointed. It is so nice to stay during the off season. We look forward to staying here in the spring. I highly recommend this place. "

"I booked this trip to celebrate my engagement with family and friends. The house was beautiful and in an amazing location with lots of privacy. The host was super nice and helpful and very responsive to our questions. We were able to put up a tent in the yard with plenty of room as well. We would definitely recommend this house to others, for the location, home itself, and amazing hosts. "
