I attempted to adjust our check-in and check-out dates weeks in advance and reached out four times via email without receiving any response about our request. The VRBO calendar indicated that the dates were available, which added to my frustration.Eventually, I called the property manager, Mariano, who assured me he would resolve the issue but informed me we would need to pay for an additional day. I agreed to this arrangement, and he mentioned I could pay him upon arrival. However, that payment process never occurred.Every time I tried to reach him, he was unavailable and promised to call back in five minutes, yet days would go by without any communication. On our original check-out date, I received a call from him at 9:50 a.m. telling me the cleaning crew would arrive at 11 a.m. I had to scramble to find alternative accommodations at the last minute.I found his lack of customer service and responsiveness unacceptable. Moving forward, I’ll be opting for hotels instead; they understand hospitality and customer service far better than my experience with this rental.
