"My stay through Hotels.com was lovely. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the owner, Mike, who personally showed me to my room and handed me the keys. He was gracious, kind, and quick to respond to any questions—something I truly appreciate when traveling. "Great place for our stay. They even left our breakfast outside our door as we were leaving early for our channel crossing. Thank you much apreciated."

"Used the hotel as a night stop before an early ferry. It served thus purpose well was clean fidy with an easy check in helpful manager / owner. The hotel is a little dated but tidy and great for our 1 night stay only 15 minutes from either the ferry or eurotunnel."

"Lovely rooms for a short stay in Folkestone and a fantastic breakfast. Only small comment would be that in the summer when the day starts really early, the shutters don't really block the light so we were not able to have much of a lie in - although this is personal preference and only a small comment on an otherwise lovely stay."

"Great, friendly welcome and really convenient for the gig we were going too! Little disappointed that they suddenly stopped serving food just when we went down which meant we had try and and find something last minute but other than that it was ideal for our needs. Also.... the fluffiest towels I have ever come across!!"

"Old hotel needs refurbishment. My room had uneven floor that made noises and the carpet needs to be replaced. The curtains didn't block the sunshine, which caused me to wake up very early. Besides the poor condition of the hotel, it was cheap and the location was good. "

"Amazing place!! We stayed here the night before getting the ferry but we would love to visit again just to stay. The reception and service was brilliant and the food absolutely delicious. An outstanding chef, and all staff went above and beyond. A special place for sure...we wish we had a local place like this to go to."
