"We had a lovely stay over New Year in this very cosy character cottage in a perfect location just off the high street in Bridport, a short walk to all the pubs and shops (but very quiet, being in a small lane tucked in behind the high street)). Susan is very communicative and is quick to reply to any queries. Would definitely stay again."

"This was our second Christmas spent at Andy’s cottage. Perfect size for the three of us. Kitchen has all of the essentials and is a lovely size looking out over the garden and fields. Shitterton is a lovely quiet hamlet with lovely period, thatched cottages.Most of our time was spent in the cosy, spacious living room with a fire roaring away. Lovely place and Andy is a great host and responds promptly to any questions."

"The views are amazing. Walking path and the sea right behind house. View after view. Well equipped kitchen with tons of space, comfy living room- and I loved the sunroom out back! "We came for a short break Thursday-Sunday. The van was spotless. The host thought about everything from providing fairy liquid, to loo rolls. Even a little sewing kit in the bathroom. We were very lucky with our weather even had a coffee on the veranda. The views over to chesil very pretty at night with the lights. Would highly recommend and use again. Thank you. "

"Disappointed that listing advertised a hot tub which is incorrect, very disappointed teenager!After getting over that, the location was great for exploring Dorset. Many attractions and places to visit within a 25 mile radius. Wonderful Wimborne a market town with plenty to offer in the way of shopping, Wimborne Minster and plenty of choice for eating out."

"This is the third time I've been to the Hide and it never fails to impress. The hosts are wonderful, the location is perfect for trips out, and the Hide, itself, is perfect for a quiet retreat. We tried the vineyard tour and tasting which we thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend. Thanks to Karen and Simon. We'd come back tomorrow if we could!"

"The cottage has all the facilities you might need, and the Welcome Box of goodies was a nice touch. The heating came on morning and evening and warmed the cottage very well. We didn't need to use the log fire. The Spar shop, located a minute's walk away, was very useful. I can recommend this accommodation to anyone thinking about a holiday to short break in Dorset. "
