"A cosy base with all we needed for a lovely stay in a lovely area. A nice welcome package of flowers, drinks and biscuits, along with a few extras - cooking oil and tea bags. Impressed with the kitchen area, which was well stocked with equipment to enable easy self catering. Denise was a very thoughtful host, willing to respond quickly to questions. One point to note - we didn't want one, but there isn't a hot tub!"

"The information looked too good to be true ... but ... the house, the location, the cleanliness and the helpfulness of the owner were amazing. A fantastic stay in a beautiful area. There was so much to do and a lot of the time you do not need to drive,(always a plus when on holiday.) We all want to return. Will recommend it to everyone. The house was a home and little touches like fresh flowers on the kitchen table were an added bonus."

"We came for a short break Thursday-Sunday. The van was spotless. The host thought about everything from providing fairy liquid, to loo rolls. Even a little sewing kit in the bathroom. We were very lucky with our weather even had a coffee on the veranda. The views over to chesil very pretty at night with the lights. Would highly recommend and use again. Thank you. "

"Booked for family to stay while attending a function. I am really embarrassed to have arranged such terrible accommodation. Glass by the front door is cracked and damaged with the double glazing leaking. Skirting boards dirty and mouldy. Grout in bathrooms mouldy - have they been cleaned properly? Stains on carpets. "We normally stay in the middle of nowhere, so this was a change for us to be in a town setting. Sherborne is a really lovely and vibrant town, with interesting buildings. The cottage was very cosy and clean, very comfy beds,it had everything we needed, we could hear the Abbey bells which was lovely, it's just round the corner."
