"After some initial bumps trying to get check in information we had a very nice stay. The house is lovely and comfortable. It's close to a main road but we were not bothered by the traffic noise at all. We were a bit intimated by the old fashion stove but managed to figure it out. You don't have to leave the property to take a hike. The property offers a nice variety of habitats.It is close to several parks, beautiful beaches, and great shopping. "

"This is a modest 3-bedroom ranch home with a scenic Grand Traverse Bay shoreline sitting among acres of splendid Pine, Maple and Birch Forest. A generous amount of very nice lawn chairs are situated in the yard for viewing sunrises and sitting around a small fire pit. A nice 10 step staircase descends to a private natural coastline that is spectacular. Inside the home is bright, tidy and attractive. Window views are picturesque. Beds and furniture are clean and comfortable but larger beds...

"Cozy and very clean property with great view. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Very nice and helpful hosts. We really enjoyed sitting under the starry night skies by the bonfire, looking at the Milky Way for a long time, appreciating the splendors of nature. One of the best properties we've ever stayed. Thank you!"

"House was beautiful. The highlight obviously being the private lakefront location. We loved playing in the lake each day. Rarely saw anyone except an occasional kayaker. House was comfy and functional. Only downsides for us were lack of blinds or curtains. If you're hoping to sleep in or that your kids will, this will be an issue. Views were beautiful though. We could have used more towels too. I've never had a restricted number in any other vrbo and it was a struggle as the girls needed...

"This is a truly unique property. Beautiful interior and a private, secluded location. Our hosts were wonderful to deal with."

"We had a great time at the property. It was spacious and the views of the lake were amazing. Downside is getting down to the water -the steps were steep which was not easy for smaller children or the elderly. Also the master bedroom gets very hot on warm days and the AC doesn't quite work in that room (the rest of the house was able to get cool). Definitely in need of some upgrades including some easy fixes like new mattresses, bedding. But overall we enjoyed our experience. "

"The house is great. The pictures are accurate and it’s overall very comfortable. The yard and beach are nice especially with little kids. The beach is small but perfect to contain a roaming 4 year old. Quick walk into town and very very quiet. "

"The pictures were very accurate and we had a great stay! We appreciated the fresh flowers and the cottage was well stocked and very clean. We didn't use it but it even had a wine fridge! We enjoyed visiting the towns of Northport, Suttons Bay, Glen Arbor & Leland. There is so much to do in the area, Christmas Cove Beach, the lighthouse, wineries, Hop Lot Brewery & a new upscale putt putt golf course with a bar in Glen Arbor."

"A great home for a large family. Plenty of private space for our family of 11. Each family have their own bedroom. The upstairs game room is a fun gathering place with an awesome view of Lake Michigan. Already looking forward to next year! "

"This was a very comfortable house, stocked with lots of linens and necessities (soap, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning products). We enjoyed the beach, even in the rain! The beach is layered with interesting fossils and shells, and the water was clear! The owner and manager were very quick to respond when my family locked the house doors with the house key inside. The owners had 2 backup plans in place to solve our issue. I'm very happy with our stay!"
