Just 2 blocks from the emerald waters of Panama City Beach Florida is “Bid-A-Wee Beach Bungalow.” A recently custom-built home, perfectly designed and fully equipped for a vacationer's dream! Featuring 3 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, multiple outdoor lounge areas, and a relaxing (heatable*) pool – this vacation rental was made to exceed 5-star expectations! In addition to its private beach access, modern furnishings & coastal décor, its spacious private backyard is what brings guests back to visit each year! Poolside lounging, island-style dining and nighttime bonfires are just a few of the sought-after vacation-style amenities at Bid-A-Wee Beach Bungalow.

Bid-A-Wee Beach is located on the quartz shores of the Gulf of Mexico, and part of an undeveloped private beach along the Emerald Coast, which has its perks! There are specific laws that protect this area of the sandy beach so that both the beach and dunes are safe and kept in pristine condition. Since it is privately owned, the beach is less crowded than the public accesses, and you'll never find high rise condominiums or buildings of any kind, as private beach gates provide the only access to the emerald waves!

Each furnished living space (both indoor and outdoor) has been well thought out to convey ultimate comfort and convenience for the entire group. Inside the open concept living, kitchen and dining space is spacious enough to pleasantly accommodate everyone. For the beloved food grazers and quick eaters in the family – the large, island-style kitchen bar is ready to serve it all up! With unique bench-style seating, the formal dining area seats all 8 guests with a view of the beautifully manicured backyard pool and firepit. For those seeking a complete recharge of the soul, we recommend getting cozy on one of the poolside loungers early in the morning to watch the quiet, slow sunrise from the East. After a long sun-soaked day at the beach, there's nothing better than a warm shower and fresh food from the outdoor grill. A typical Bid-A-Wee Beach Bungalow nightcap is best spent around the backyard firepit, sharing vacation stories, and making new memories.

Private French doors open to a secluded outdoor living space from the king master suite. Soft outdoor furniture underneath a private pergola awaits guests staying in this suite, along with a private ensuite featuring double vanities, a smooth soaking tub and a walk-in shower. Next door to the king, is a furnished queen room which shares a spacious full-sized bathroom with the main living area. At the end of the hall is an entertaining kid's room featuring a twin bunk, boat-bed, and twin trundle. The full-sized laundry room is such a welcome convenience when staying several days, just throw the wet bathing suits in the dryer and continue enjoying your vacation.

Bid a wee beach
We absolutely loved our stay! It was a short walk to the private beach. They had wagons, chairs, and sand toys in the garage - which was a huge plus! The neighbors were all very friendly. The house was amazing as was the pool! My only complaint was that we paid $65 + tax per day to have the pool heated and it got shut off for at least 2 days. (days it was 60-65 degrees) They did come and turn it back on when we called. However, it would have been nice to have been reimbursed those days it was not running. Anytime we asked about it we never heard back. Otherwise, it was a great vacation and we would love to go back! We also left my sons blanket and they were able to find it and ship it back to us!

The house and pool were both amazing. My four boys enjoyed the pool and the wife and I liked the easy access to the beach. The description is definitely what your getting. My only complaints the bed in the master bedroom was uncomfortable on one side. The shower head in the master bath needs to be changed so that the water sprays out instead of the spitting water action. Overall I would give the house a 9 out of 10. I will definitely be back

Our family had a great vacation at the Bid-A-Wee Beach Bungalow! The house was very clean and stocked with everything that a guest could possibly need. It was wonderful to have the beach chairs to use and some of them were brand new. The kids loved their time in the pool. We will definitely plan to stay here again!

We really enjoyed staying here. We have a family of 5 and this home accommodated us very well. It was very nice and well equipped for our stay. The pool was excellent and we used it a ton. The outdoor area is very nice and relaxing. I liked that the house came with 4 bikes that we could use to go cruise around, they were awesome! Plenty of items as well to take to the beach which is just a short walk or bike ride away. Only gripes I had were that several property maintenance people showed up unexpectedly during the trip and entered the back yard without notice on multiple days. Would've been nice to know they were coming before I looked out the back window and saw strange people in the yard :) Overall had a great time and a great experience with the property. Highly recommend!

Perfect vacation
We had a fantastic stay at Bid-a-Wee Beach! The house was beautifully decorated, with a fully equipped kitchen. The yard was larger than expected with multiple seating areas, 2 bbq's and a salt water pool. There were 4 bikes left for our use, plenty of beach chairs. There was also a wagon to tote everything to the private community beach 2 blocks away. The property management company had recommended places for grocery shopping and answered questions we had about the area. They checked in with us during our stay and were fantastic. We've already talked about going back again!

Adorable house, great location, green pool
My husband and I stayed at the end of March for the last few days of spring break with our three children under 6 at the Bid-a-wee bungalow. The house is perfect. It’s well decorated and updated, it’s well laid out, there are great books to read and DVDs for kids and adults to watch. Kitchen is labeled and well stocked. Tons of pool and beach toys, floats, even a wagon to take to the beach (HUGE bonus there!) And The kids’ bunk room was so fun for our three. The house had plenty of space for our family if 5 (or more!) and there were some pretty serious sirens that would alert you if the back doors to the pool were open without pushing a silencer that is at adult level (annoying maybe, but we felt VERY safe there, as one of ours doesn’t know how to swim). The house itself is lovely. The backyard is beautiful. The firepit, sitting area under a pergola, and eating table area were all so nice…that and the pool are what drew us to rent the property! We wanted to be able to go to the beach some, but with our kids ages and the cold ocean water in March, we knew we’d spend most the time in the pool and playing outside. Unfortunately, the pool was totally green when we arrived and despite the efforts of the pool company, the pool remained green throughout our stay and was unusable. While we were refunded the heating fee, we were greatly disappointed not to be able to “get wet” the entire trip as we had planned and I feel like the pool or rental management could have checked in more on that rather than us constantly calling to report the pool still being green, and we didn’t quite feel like that compensation accounted for our “actual loss” during our stay. Despite our disappointment with the pool situation, we would definitely still consider renting here again due to the charm of the house, yard, *potential* for pool, and location to the beach.

My experience
The house was beautiful and that's all I can really say that's positive. We paid extra for the pool to be heated and the last 3 days of our stay it didn't work and was filthy. I wouldn't let my kids swim in it that's hoe dirty it was. I won't recommend this to my family or friends.

Awesome property!
This is a beautiful beach home that did not disappoint!! It has a wonderful open floor plan with plenty of room for family gatherings. We really enjoyed the pool, the large tv's and especially the fire pit area. We had a fire and s'mores several nights. We only had a little problem with the pool heater but the management company was very responsive and got it fixed pronto. We will be back!!!

This house was PERFECT for our group of 6!! The location was perfect from the beach! We rented a golf cart to go to the beach and places close by! All the amenities that came with the house were a BIG PLUS especially the kitchen and beach stuff to use!!! Enjoyed the bikes and pool!!

Great property.
This house was amazing! Our kids really enjoyed having a pool to themselves and not having to worry about other people and it being fenced in provided all the privacy we wanted. I personally loved the bikes that were included because it was so nice to take a bike stroll around the neighborhood and shopping centers without having to drive the car every time. It isn’t right on the beach but we walked every time and it wasn’t bad at all. I do wish there would have been more then 2 trash bags, 1 roll of paper towels and 1 roll of toilet paper because with 8 people we definitely had to go to the store for those items. Also the alarm on the back doors were very annoying and went off every time you opened the door. I get it is for safety reasons but it’s hard to keep that from going off with kids in and out. I also wish we would have known there were pool toys and beach wagons/toys because we would have packed lighter on those items. Overall though it was an amazing experience and we couldn’t be happier.

We were in town for a very large wedding and rented several properties around PCB. 500 Tarpon was by far the most convenient to everything and nicest!!! Beautiful!!! The only problem we had was the neighbor on the corner, straight across the street with the long hair. After the wedding at runaway island, some family members stopped by to pick up some of the others to go go cart riding and the neighbor came out drunk and cussing at the kids. I just told him it was inappropriate behavior and go back inside. He did. Now, the other neighbors, Trish and Sammy could not have been more kind!!! All in all the neighborhood is lovely, the home is lovely and I would rent there again in a heartbeat!!! Throughly enjoyed the stay!

Clean, Quiet, & Beautiful ~ Practically Perfect!
We had the very best stay! The house is beautifully decorated, very well maintained, and immaculately clean. All of the attention to details made us feel as comfortable as if we were in our own home. We cooked every meal at the house and found the kitchen very well-stocked as well as the beach toys and supplies. They really thought of everything! The outdoor space is so lovely and the pool is a great size and was so nice to have the heated option! The walk to the beach is very manageable, and we loved using the bikes to make it even quicker. I've never been to a quieter beach. With the exception of Saturday mid-day we often had the beach largely to ourselves! Early morning and evening were especially quiet. You do have to cross a somewhat busy street to get to the beach, but the very quiet neighborhood made up for that -- we didn't find it too challenging even with our young kids. Communication was easy, attentive, and accommodating and all the logistics went off without a hitch. We are so glad we came and we will hope to come again!

Beautiful House- mostly pleasant stay
We generally enjoyed our stay at this vacation house. It was very clean, well decorated and stocked with everything a family needs for a beach vacation. However we specially chose a house that had a heated pool as our kids would rather swim than visit the beach. We asked for the pool to be heated the morning of our arrival and it turns out the heater was broken. The owner did try to get it repaired but was unsuccessful. We feel that we paid a premium for the house to have a private pool and this was the most important aspect of our vacation that we looked forward to for months. The owner did offer us a $100 gift card, which was fine but not as impactful as having as it could have been for a 6 night stay paying for a pool. It was too cold to use for the entire trip. If you are visiting in warmer months, you will likely enjoy the house and pool very much.

PERFECT!
What a wonderful home! We had such a lovely time. The house was perfect for our family of 6. The kids enjoyed the pool, and my parents enjoyed lounging under the pergola watching the kids play. The beach is just a short walk and super private. Lots of space to sprawl out and enjoy the day. If I had to make any suggestions it would be to upgrade the shower heads and some of the silverware. The outdoor silverware was getting a bit rusty. But those were such minor things. We couldn’t have asked for a better “home” for the week! Will definitely rent again if we find ourselves in PCB again.

We had an absolute blast 🙌🏾. Nice location with private beach access. The family love it plenty of space for a family of five.
