"Room was a bit smaller than expected with kitchenette, no AC so very hot at night. Mattress was a bit mushy and roof over patio leaked onto the table when it rained. Not much privacy since you can hear all neighbors. Very picturesque but probably wouldn’t stay there again. "

"The stay was wonderful in every way! The location is ideal for exploring Volcanoes National Park, but it's also not far from other great day-trip options and the black sand beach. The space is perfect for two people; the kitchen is well-stocked if you want to cook, and there are extras like a cooler and snorkeling gear for exploring the water. Would definitely stay here again!!"

"Unit had everything we needed. No air conditioning but lots of fans, still was too warm for us. It is very close to the pool with nice ocean views and sounds of the waves crashing. Pool was nice, not sure how often it was cleaned, the hot tub was nice but not filtered enough as it did have a heavy sunscreen film. No umbrellas available at the pool if you want shade. "

"It was very convenient location in Hilo. Next to lovely grounds. I did not see a hot tub, but did use pool. We had a mountain view but not an ocean view. The 3 balconies were great for viewing. For the price this is a good value. The bathtubs are old. But, they work fine. It is an older unit and building, but it was comfortable. Two bedroom and two bathrooms. Has coffee filters and shampoo. Has parking under facility. Walkable to a beach and lovely park area."

"We had a marvelous stay in Volcano, the house is spacious and wonderfully decorated. We loved the kitchen and back patio + private jungle backyard. We were disappointed the Jacuzzi was not working during our stay but Mindi made up for that (and few misses by the cleaning staff) with the gift of some amazing live orchids from her farm, that arrived after we got back home! Highly recommended!!"

"Really a great change from the Kona beach experience. The Jungalow is really comfortable and well equipped. My family and I really felt at home, and loved the cool, misty mornings with the chickens and pheasants in the front yard adding a comical touch to morning coffee. I'm sorry we didn't stay a few extra days just to hang around the property. The neighborhood is great, my teenager is trying to get me to move here!"

"1st time at a yurt. The room was nice. The place was in a more secluded area, but not far from highway access. Being far out, there wasn't a sewer system in place, so the toilet system took us off guard. Overall, nice place and staff was great to work with. "

"It was a wonderful experience for us to stay at this beautiful home surrounded by serene rainforest. We got everything we needed there. The host was a great communicator and ensured our stay was pleasant. It’s also a great location near Volcano National Park. I highly recommend this lovely place for future visits. "

"The gecko is definitely more updated than its nextdoor neighbor. Both were spotless. However both are in dire need of new loveseats, or at least do a serious deep cleaning of these. The bed was very comfortable, which is amazing considering how bad my back is! The location was perfect for us because our forever home is in lower Ocean View. But for tourist it would be the perfect half way point between Hilo & Kona. And Pinapple the cat is adorable!"

"The home and property are just beautiful. The hot tub was a dream to use and welcome at the end of a long day hiking in the park. The house comes with all the amenities a family needs. It’s very spacious and the kitchen is well appointed! The property made our stay a real treat!"

"It was perfect for our state. Very clean kind of treehouse vibes in the middle of the fern forest the price was extremely reasonable. Location is very secluded in the middle of the forest gravel road going in very dark if you come in late but very safe location we stayed in number five had a perfect shower table microwave small fridge upstairs had a bed and a restroom, I would recommend If you like to save the environment and stay away from lots of touristy types of properties. Had two towels...

"Great location and charming interior layout. Always appreciate nice art on the walls. Very private and tropical surroundings. The kokee frogs will serenade you in the evening. The WiFi could have been stronger and a bit more kitchenware would be nice. "

"The home worked great for us. Two adult couples visiting the island. We were looking for a place close to the national park. On the day we arrived, there was a torrential rain storm the entire day. The host was able to get us into the house early which was super helpful since touring was not an option. We enjoyed the hot tub and playing cards to pass the day. Beautiful landscaping. Lots of room. And the full size washer/dryer was much appreciated. "

"Muito confortável a cabana. Ficamos um pouco confusos no check in porque é feito em uma loja, mas a cabana fica em outro quarteirão, em um local muito tranquilo e bonito. A equipe de hospedagem nos proporcionou uma excelente estada!"
