I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The front desk staff was very welcoming and helpful during both check-in and check-out, which made a great first and last impression. The room itself was spacious and nicely appointed, but unfortunately had a strong moldy smell that really took away from the overall comfort.
One of the main reasons I booked was for the free hot breakfast, but this was a letdown. The selection was poor ā the only hot item worth mentioning was the waffle maker. Most other food items were cold, the yogurt ran out quickly, and the woman working the breakfast area was consistently unpleasant and unhelpful.
On a more positive note, the valet service and general staffing around the property were excellent ā always present and helpful. With some improvements, especially in housekeeping and breakfast service, this hotel has real potential to be a top choice.
